Pedigree? Please Help!

Hello, i was wondering if anyone can please help find my dogs pedigree for me? her name is Penn's "B", sire is Penn's "Riddick", dam is Hooper's "Suge". I tried the other tread, but it seems as if no one really checks that one anymore. thanks

Couldn't find anything. You should check with the ADBA. If you have her reg number I'm sure they can help you find what you want to know.

Wow! That's really weird. I just bought her like a month ago, she's only 4 months old. So what does this mean since none of you all can't find nothing? Is she real or what's going on?

 

Could just mean nobody entered the ped online. Some people like to keep their business off the net. Hence the term Feds online. Do you have papers from the adba? Obviously she's registered or she wouldn't have a number. Did you get a ped with the registration papers?

 

no not yet. i'm barely in the process of mailing all that in. ADBA suggested i get the 7 generation with the pedigree analysis and percentage sheet. That alone costs $120. I'm planning on just on getting the 7 generation with the bloodline percentage sheet, it's $65, i don't really see why i need the analysis part. She's one of the best lookin pits i've ever owned! But anyways thank you all for trying to help and thank you yardboy for clearing that up for me.

 

If it looks like a real dog, acts like a real dog, smells like a real dog, it's probably a real dog. just kidding. But seriously, in the future, do a little more homework to find what it is you're lookin for in a dog. Get to know the breeder. Get to know more about the dam and sire. A little more homework and you won't have to ask these ?s. And just because a dog has a ped doesn't make it a REAL bulldog. And just because it doesn't have a ped doesn't mean it's not. Just means you know how it's bred.

 

I bet they did tell you you need all that:eek: they want all the $$$ they can get. I got a bitch that the sire is online and the Dan isn't but I know the breeder and asked about the dam. He told me all I needed to know. Peds online ain't gospel anyway. Some dogs are on there with more than one ped and bein the same dog. It's a tool. It can help but you can't trust it completely. As far as your pup goes, call the breeder and ask more questions. They should know. If they can't, well.......

 

So...if u don't have the ped, what exactly are you sending to the ABDA?

 

The registration certificate from the breeder. Transfer of ownership.

contact the breeder and find out whos behind your dogs. breeder should be able to tell you what makes up the 4gen of the top of his/her head.

 

Yeah when i bought her the breeder showed me the sire's 7 generation pedigree. It was packed straight razor's edge. He didn't show me the mom's though, i don't think he owned her, he only showed me a picture. He also told me to feed her "dyne" as a way to help her put on a little muscle. Is that even true or partially correct?

 

The (peddler) that you got your pup from is wrongly informing you.Dyne is used on dogs that had surgery and can't eat solid foods for a while.and for pups that need a little more nutrition. Dyne is 50%fat. and 3% protien.

she looked more game bred, and i think it was the perfect mix. My girl she not too wide, but she's not too skinny either. She's got thick bone and a beautiful face and she gots that swagger to her when she walks
