damn willy, i have to be living under a rock because i didn't think you guys really excisted. You know that there is millions of physical evidence just in your body. I could give u some histoligical exampels, but i guess u don't even know what that is.

Lets keep it simpel. Flue-viruses and staph-bacteria are perfect exampels of how evolution at work. Staph is treated by antibiotics. The hardiest bacteria needs a longer treatment, but many people stop the treatment when they feel better. Killing weak bacteria and letting hardy bacteria live. After a while you develop antibiotic resistant staph-bacteria, with different DNA than the original staph. New species created by circumstances. Depending on what kind of antibiotic you use u can create different species with different types of resistant genes... Have seen this with my own eyes.

What does Big bang have to do with evulotion? Big bang is only presented as a theory, although a good one it is kinda hard to understand. Just because it is not plausible for you, doesn't mean it's wrong.

there is evidence that there was an explosion in space.big bang or not.astronomers have proved that the univers is expanding......moving out from a certain point.....travelling....which points to an explosion of some kind.fair enough.but what created that explosion?......and so on and so on.......etc....its all down to faith at that point.....

 

The whole point i was trying to make with the examples james is , on a moral level "us" as a society have to deem weather we are going to allow things to be a matter of choice of the individual or not... suicide in my opinion is wrong, weather it be by needle or gun and is looked down upon by society in general... if your grams wants to die and what not might as well just let you stab her in the chest right? I mean after all there is no difference, everyone is welcome to there opinion and everyone is allowed to disagree...

 

what a dip stick change is not evolution from one thing to another its simple there no and i meen NO evidence of one single evolution from one animal into another but if we are talking about change or adapting then that is a different subject but because something created by God can move and grow a resistance to an effect in no way proves the evolution from one to the other ... its just that simple so me one thing on earth the you can prove that evolved in that way ,,, let me help you out dont bother looking because there is not one and most evolution beleiveing people canrt stand to ba asked for evidence becasue it cant be proven

Peppa - You seem very impassioned about this subject - to the point where me having an opinion makes you start throwing out names and calling me a nutter when you ask questions after quoting me. Passion is a great thing, but you also need to remember that it blinds common sense.

Of course I would never, nor would any other responsible human being, advocate for letting a minor make the choice you suggested. There is a reason children are to be protected and nurtured - some choices they are not ready to understand the enormity of.

As for two crazy folks who get together and decide they want to kill each other. Well, they probably would not qualify for assisted suicide as there is careful mental screening in place to ensure the person making the choice is completely competent - something two "crazy" people would not be.

However, I will say this much - defending the rights of human beings is a tough slope if you want to really follow through on it. It must be nice to only stick behind a cause when it only sounds "pretty" - but through and through defending each person's right to be a sovereign individual in control of their own selves works both ways, in situations you like and in situations you do not like.

Could someone chose to take their life for a reason I personally do not feel is viable? Yes. But that is not the core of the issue - the core of the issue is that we are slaves to no man, the choice of what to do with our body is ours and ours alone. No law or other human should be able to dictate that, pretty it not. Freedom isn't always pretty Peppapig, but if you really truly believe in it you must defend it at all times, not just when it looks good and makes for a nice photoshoot in a magazine.
