here's a dog house I made entirely from recycled/found materials. Everything I used was free- wood, nails, primer, paint... In the pictures it has just been sealed with kilz, but it will eventually get painted green like my other doghouses. Just goes to show, you don't have to spend $50+ to build a dog house.

it's 25" in the front and 22" in the back, so it's got a decent slant

Not bad at all, only thing I see you might have to replace is the roof, looks kinda thin, the dog might chew on it, good job on using the found material.

Good stuff mate.:) You'd be amazed at what you can do with a pallet, some ply, a few screws and glue! Every doghouse I've made has been 90% recycled, and has done the job more than well.

as I said, It's 25" in front and 22" in back. it looks fairly flat, but it's really just the camera angle- the roof has a nice slope to the back. if that's what you 're talking about...I'm not sure.

Yeah, it's only 1/2" ply on the roof, but my dogs are small and aren't too destructive, so I might get a couple years out of it. I've had dogs in the past that ate so much of their doghouse they sh*t sawdust!
