I like the song Dead Game. Not so hot on "cull 'em" and I haven't heard any other song by him.

 

I started a similar thread a few months back and have come to this conclusion. Albany poo is "in it fo that fame n money". Dry snitchin might be his thing, not mine... Dead game has a few decent things goin for it hip hop wise, but in the dog world it's not doing anyone any favours!!

i don't see why everybody cares about this dude so much. Sure he post videos of his dogs and rap about dog fighting, on his youtube account... It's not like he's main stream and gets out to the general public. He seems to be caring for his dog in a safe way and his dogs are all untouched. I think he sets the exampel that you can be interested in your dogs history without breaking the law. Why do you have to hide if u got nuthin' to hide?

So what if he is in it for the fame and the money, who gives a F***. Atleast he doesn't massproduce...

 

Actually, it does get out... It was a long while ago that an HSUS rep. sent it to me, going on and on about him being a dogfighter, and about WSK fighting dogs because of his lyrics about them... the HSUS has 64,795 'friends' on MS. And they posted several bulletins, that go to every single friend, about him and other dogfighting BS, and I am sure their friends reposted as well to reach more people... It DOES get out... I, personally, am much happier when it stays in your trusted circle and isn't broadcasted to everyone...

HSUS broadcasts new newsfeeds everyday. Shit about an "alledged dogfighter" is not gonna harm the game dog community? How would it? It is out in the open, but it is far from main stream. If you wanna point fingers about people opening the eyes of the public to the dogfigting game you have to point your finger at the dogmen who got caught. Albany lou is just a minow. HSUS nag about his lyrics, so what? It doesn't change anyones opinion on the matter. The public doesn't care about this guy. He just does music and owns dogs. If this is all the have to post on their MS i would be glad, but guys who really do sport their dogs and don't keep it on the DL, those are the guys that really feed the HSUS. Don't make this albany lou shit a big deal, when it's not.

I know, in comparison to many things he's just a fly, but he's an annoying fly.. I just don't like anything that seems to advertise it, at least where it could harm someone or some good dogs.

I find him hard to be appealing and motivating all I see is "I am to hard" across his forehead just listening to dead game makes me shake my head.

 

In regards of Albany Lou being a dry snitch etc. Before he produced the track, he actually had approval from Ed Faron and Faron holds him in high regards. The track "dead game" was actually meant to promote wildside kennels and Lou and Faron are friends. Lou also has a small yard consisting of dogs from the wildside blood and his top stud is wildside's fat mack. Now I'm not saying the guy is dogman of the century or that he is a real dogman, but he does know his bulldogs. However, in terms of being a human being, I wouldn't put much worth into him. Seriously, why would you broadcast and announce to the world about the pitbull and portray them in such a negative light is beyond me. Also as i recall, no gamedog would bite his handler when being picked up and many dogs have lost game and have gotten picked up. I know he meant it to mean the dog is so game that it would rather die, but seriously? Just research the history of the dogs yourself, no need to let others know about our breed of choice's past. Those that want to know will know and those that pretend won't know jack shit. His music is probably doing more harm to the breed since at first, it was just ambullies and amstaffs on the end of the chain of these gangsta wannabes. Next thing you know, gangsta wannabes will actually have an apbt at the end of their leashes.
