diy crop jobs...

I thought about cropping my dog's ears when he was a pup because I liked the look of it. A small part of me still regrets not doing it simply because when I fold his ears back to see when a crop would look like on him, I think it complimented his head shape nicely. But I'm happy I didn't do it because A LOT of how he is feeling is expressed through his ears, as wreck1 said, and I can't imagine not being able to read his body language without them.

 

my female doesn't have her ears cropped but she turns her head a lot when I say something or there's a noise that she perks up to. That's her body language/expression not her ears LOL

Yeah, if you spend enough time with your dog ears or no ears and you cant tell what it is thinking or feeling its time to go back to puppy school at pet smart lol!! This is just another one of the things that all the people that felt it was inhumane had to say about it to me when i had my girls done. Not against but also no longer see the need for it unless the dog has a problem.

 

Battle crop = no ears.

 

i wish it olny cost 125 to crop ears where i live at the vets around here want 300 bux
i woul dlike to get 2 of my pups ears done if a person has been doing it for a long time then IMO its ok it dont have to be a vet i dont have to take my car to the dealership when it is broke down so i dont see the point of only having a vet do it.
