This is one of the dumbest statements ever heard..Performer n Producer are two different things..Many a Ch's who couldnt produce and many a piece of shit dog that could produce..

I disagree 100% .... There were many great performer's who couldn't produce but they were still performer's and were just as valuable to a yard as a producer. There were also producer's who all they did was produce performer's. What your saying makes no sense at all.

  6. While I agree to a point, the point u just made was for the owner of said bulldog he produced good enough to be usefull, there are bulldogs that preformed but couldn't throw shit thats what I'm talking about, u get two three maybe 4 good years with him then he/she is useless, I've seen these kind of Ch. bulldogs ruin a yard with the owner believing there is no way this performer can't produce something, at least thats my take on it..............

Well IMO in any yard you should always have a good producer and a performer:D. Both are equally important to any yard. It doesn't hurt to have a performer who can also produce. But none the less there is a place for both in any yard IMO. I personally would never cull a performer just because it couldn't produce and the same goes with a producer who couldn't perform. A good producer will always throw performer's and a performer will always perform.

I disagree. As long as a said dog can prove itself to be game I would give it a shot to produce. Not all dogs have the ability to perform. Like it's said about redboy dogs to produce a lot of soft mouth game plugs. Not all of them but my point is if they're crossed right they make exceptional animals. Personally I don't have a problem breeding cold dogs or dogs who can't perform all that well as long as the breeder is honest with himself and the people he places them with and as long as they cull the bad.

So you guys are telling me that you wouldn't breed a dog who wasn't much of a performer but produced it's ass off? A producer is a dog who produces dogs better than him/herself. With a performer you don't always know what the dog will produce. It would depend on what the dog was bred to and even then you just don't know. I think they both have importance in a yard. I would want both and would breed both.

No If the dog was already a proven producer I would breed to it, but if I just had a cold dog I wouldnt just be like "hmmm maybe i should waste one of my good gyp's heat and 2 years of feed and space and breed her to this male thats a no go." Lol Im not saying any of yall do that but yeah alot of good dogs have come down from no performing dogs. But alot more bad or no performing dogs have also come down from the same stuff. Its just my opinion really..
