Yes I am saying a producer produces and a performer performs ... I also am saying that there were performer's who couldn't produce worth a lick. And there were cold cur's who produced their ass off. A performer or producer should obviously at the bare minimum be proven I thought we were talking about game dogs here not fucking labs akcbr954 :rolleyes:

Sadie but you just stated about Cold/Curs that produce..what me and akcbr954 are saying is were not gonna breed a cold/cur dog to test the theory of there possibilities or production...theres no point there are plenty of dogs that can produce that ARE performers and in my opinion its usually peddlers who decide to breed a cur/cold dog on the basis of a nice ped.. Honestly i think if performers were the only thing bred it'd be less likely to throw cold/cur dogs...im not a genetic genius but thats my opinion on the matter..and by performer I dont mean a high ability dog i mean a game dog that will perform if given the chance.

Really??? OMG OMG!!!! That's funny cause I don't breed and sell anything never even bred a dog :rolleyes: and I don't feed garner or wildside dogs either :eek: Not my cup of tea personally. It's funny how some people assume they know everyone else and what they do and don't do with their dogs.:rolleyes: Why your so worried about what everyone else is buying, selling and breeding you should be worried about your own dogs if you even have any how about that? That's a simple thought for ya:rolleyes:

 

Never owned any wildside dogs just seen them and they just don't make my hair Sticc up!..lol...now TG dogs have!!...everydog the man sells is not going to be hot!..I kno this!..lot of ppl have bad dogs from him alot have good from him but by all means when and if u do get a good one off of him, trust me!!...it's a bulldog in every way u want it to be!!...the way his stock has produced I'm amazed ppl are saying his stock is garbage!..lol...let's put it like this!...if it was pre 1976 and u got in the [] with a good TG dog, if ur dog won (that's "if") he probably would die l8r that night from his injuries..that's if it was pre 1976...still till this day I hear good things about his dogs in the [] in Mexico where it is legal...he's a peddler but a good peddler!!...lol

 

I actually like some of the Garner stuff even though I have never owned any of it just not a fan of TG's breeding practices he breeds quantity instead of quality JMO. I was always told that breeding quality bulldogs should be the first and foremost important thing. IMO there are good and bad dogs in any line doesn't matter where or who they came from. But people can feed whatever the hell they want to as long as it makes them happy.

 

This is why i would never buy a dog from a PEDDLER, they breed for all the wrong reasons and as a result you end up with a lot MORE culls than neccesary.

 

I don't care wat ppl say about that dude!!...it's one thing i kno!...u don't sell that many dogs if ur product is garbage!!!...lol...u might get away one time but then the u would kno that it's garbage, u wouldn't come bacc a second time unless it was good!...why are ppl still buying his product?...after all these years u mean to tell me ppl still don't kno his product is garbage?...u don't sell dogs like that if ur product is garbage!....now I do understand ppl have had bad dealing with tg but to lable his dogs garbage because u had a bad dealing with the owner is wrong!...I would rather ppl talk bad about tg and leave the dogs out of it!

Well here's the thing If you are breeding quantity before quality just to sell pups your not culling hard to weed out the bad stuff so the dogs suffer your dogs are a product of the man behind them if your a peddler what you produce suffer's too. I love some of the old garner dogs Chinaman being one of my favorites. Let's just be real for a minute people buy dogs from him because of the name attached to the dogs. That's really what it all boils down to. If you were going to buy a BMW wouldn't you rather go to a BMW official dealer? Instead of going to a one man dealer or a private dealer who sells all types of cars? Most people are going to go to the source because they feel like it's a better product. Same thing here because TG still breeds people feel like they are getting the best of the garner blood because it's coming directly from him. But because of his breeding ethics his dog's and the bloodline suffer in the end regardless of how pure it is. JMO I am not knocking anyone or their dogs just real talk.

To deny the quality on TG's yard is funny. Say what you will about the man but he's got quality dogs. A far majority of the people talkin down on him will never own the quality of dogs he has. This post isnt at you OH.

 

Tg doesn't breed for pretty papers!!..might look pretty to ppl who dont really kno about breeding!...he breeds for performance, studs etc!...just depends on way direction u want to go in!!...cull is needed nomatter who is the breeder!!....lol...it's funny ppl keep saying peddler...name me one who wasn't???!!!!!.......after ur dog has finished his career and has accomplished everything u ask of him and u have accomplished everything u want why not sit bacc and make money off of ur work?...u would be a fool not too!!...all the legends did it!!...I'll say it again just in case some weren't listening!!!...these dogs have always and will continue to be about money and competing!
