It aint luck most of the time .High standerds alot of time and money spent threw hard culling is usaly how it goes. Properly looking over youre stock with an honest eye and breeding only youre deserving honest dogs in order to improve the quality the dogs with every generation. If you aint got time for that...youre dogs will always be subpar next to the dogman who has time for that lottery.

Yea but how often do you find that PERFECT specimen to kick it off? How often do you find THAT dog that finishes quick but. Will go all night? More often then not its one or the other, sometimes but not most. However I agree with you about selective breeding n cullin, but too many folks preach.the gameness speach. The oriinal point of these dogs was to win the competition n brin home the bacon, when goin up against a killern you dead game lower talent is ood as dead if the killer keeps commin, if it was me I'd breed to win, not to chase gameness cuz that's what I think a good dogman is supposed to do.

No it doesn't take much to keep me happy if I think your a winner and will throw the same then ill take a chance. The do doesn't need to be dead game or even deep game at that. Give me a killer and I'd stick em to every bitch I had and sit on a shitload of pups!

That's if I involved myself in illegal act., which I do not. But if I was around pre 76 that's how I'd do it

Not sayin I base everything by those standards, but she asked what I consider a differences in curs n bulldogs, so that's just a basic outline every dog is its own situation and that's how I would judge,

the killers not always game . when he comes up against 1 that can hang . then he's in trouble . and many killers quit on top . you don't breed for game then your screwed . you have to see a game one to know all about what it is . and how important it is .you only hurt yourself in the long run if you don't .

The only trait that seperates the apbt from any other breed is GAMNESS. You quit breeding for that Youre SCREWED!. Old goat has it 100% Right . I feel sorry for those who dont understand this.
