Your website says the pups are for sale for $1000 each? By all means, don't sell these pups.

I know it could be pain staking, but could you explain why all the white comes through, and how it relates to the tightness of the breeding?

I've been around quite a few tight redboy breedings and I will say that the tighter you go the more you will get cowpatch looking redboy animals. But you do get some of good white animals like that too.

    white, like red-rednose is recessive.
when I have a little more time, maybe this weekend I'll give a few more thoughts.
I will say I've owed quite a few dogs that were bred pretty tight on redboy and his offspring. these were solid dogs down from proven dogs, not peddled stock and bred for money.
my best dogs were no more than half redboy with good outs. we had a few white/patched dogs but they were rare. most of the dogs were a dark red with a black mask and alot of them were actually black. we also got a few dark red chocolate colors and even a few red-rednose even brindles.
If I was still breeding bulldogs I would never breed 2 white dogs together.

I dont know alot about genetics but this is what I think about it as it pertains to color patterns.

White/color patches (cowpatched) is a rececive color pattern (rr), they have to have two rececive genes for them to be white/color patches if you breed two recicive white/color patched dogs all pups will be some variation of white/color patches.

Then you have solid colored dogs that carry one dominent gene for solid color and one rececive gene for white/ color patches (Rr), if you bred this dog to a white/color patched dog half your pups will be solid colored (Rr) and the other half will be white/color patches (rr). If you bred this same solid colored dog (Rr) to another solid colored dog with the same genes (Rr) you will have one pup that is dominent for solid color (RR) two will have one dominent gene for solid color and one rececive gene for white/ color patches (Rr) and one will be rececive for white/ colored patches (rr).

Then if you breed the dominent solid colored dog (RR) to any of the others listed all pups will be solid colored and will either be (Rr) or (RR).

So the color of the pups really can not show how tight they are bred, for example; if you took a brother (Rr) and bred him to his litter mate sister (rr) the offfspring will be half (Rr) and half will be (rr). If you took a female offspring (Rr) and bred her back to her sire (Rr) you will get one pup that is (RR) two that are (Rr) and one that is (rr). Then if you bred the same sire (Rr) back to an offspring off that breeding (Rr) you will get the same combination as previous, three solid colored dogs one white/color patches ext. Know if you take two dogs that are off two diffrent families of dogs that are both rececive for white/ color patches (rr) and breed those together all the pups will come out some variation of white/color patched (rr).

I may be totally wrong but that is the way I look at it when it comes to color variation in dogs. And when it comes to these white redboy dogs you cross them to another family (Jeep, etc.) they will mesh as well as the red ones.

    (RR)= Dominent Solid Color
    (Rr)= Solid Color/ Rececive for White/Color Patches
    (rr)= White/Color Patches
