Latest video of The Outlaw Josey Wales

Discussion in 'Photography, Artwork & Videos' started by outlaw josey, Jan 23, 2011.

  1. Haven't been on here for awhile - here is my latest video of Josey - "running like the wind" at our local park. She was 2 on Christmas day and what a great girl. She is our 1st ever dogs and as seniors she keeps us on our toes.

Oh man haha, what an awesome name, I was gonna name a dog Josey Wales one day... maybe I'll just stick with Clint now.
Wish I could trust my shepherd off leash, I'd love to have her running around like that. Having a bully breed off leash around a bunch of other dogs might turn out to be a bad idea though, btw

  3. I share your concern, but this is not a dog park. It is a local park in our neighborhood - we know the other people and Josey has known the dogs for over a year. She is two now and so far she still loves all people and dogs. She is still submissive if a dog acts unfriendly. She will ignore those and seek out the ones who like to run and play. I only let her off if there are dogs there that she knows. She is great with puppies too. She does not go off leash if there are small children or seniors walking (lol my husband and I are seniors) due to her speed and rock solid body. The other dog owners know her and know to do the matador "oh lay" move when she comes toward them. We have made so many friends since getting our 1st ever dog. We have met people who invite us to their homes for play dates to get their dogs more active. I am aware that this can still change and we are ready to deal with that if it happens. Our weekly group obedience classes consist now of some off leash training - Josey is a very well socialized little girl and we hope she will stay that way.
