Determining a bloodline

Can anyone point me in the right direction? trying to learn as much as possible about certain bloodlines and how to be able to read peds in order to know. Any source of info i can be directed to?

lol listen man ur making it more difficult than it needs to be peds read left to right sire(dad) on top dam(mom) on bottom then it goes to second.....grand parents, on top ul have the sire(dad)'s parents his dad on top his mom on bottom so on there after......

 

May not make since to some but I start from the right and go left...

Makes sense if you go on the very true premise that its what is up front that matters the most - too many people seem to get hung up on what is far in the past.

 

Plus it is pretty simple to trace bloodline if you read from right to left since you can say this dog and this dog produced this dog, who produced this dog and so on right down to your hound.

i couldnt read peds for shit at first and i eventually figured it out on my own
as easy as it is if u dont know what ur lookin at its confusing as fuck

now forgive me for asking but you know the line from the dogs name? or from the kennel name? That is what I am still trying to work out.

 

i agree crushbones and it can be from either a famous dog or a famous line. more times than not its a dog. in this instance redboy jock jeep and bolio are dogs but carver is a breeder.

U can't go by his name or a kennel name....u have to look at the ped and see where the dog decends from, the bloodline

 

depends on what kinda dog it is (some one correct me if im wrong) for instance a colby dog would be a "colby" dog because thats the breeders name and they are more of a family of dogs... as oppose to lets say a bolio dog... bolio was a dog himself who ppl made a line off of because of his prowess in the {}but the majority of lines are from dogs themselves i.e. jocko redboy eli maverick sixbits
