For Suppliers who say STILLWATER Seatbelt(Polyester)Collars Stretch !!!!

Probely long befor still water and war dog where in the collar bisenis. we used the blue and black and red Nylon collars. that we took from the USA. (includding the heavy duty bull snaps). these things where cheap and lasted not 1 but more life times of dogs. this conversation is rediculess the stretch(if its there at al) from a dubble coated Collar is non ecsistend. specialy not in sutch a short piece of material used and if there is not a rediculees heavy chain atachst to it.
But iven if it would stretch, the point is when having a yard of dogs you need to chek color tightness every month, and ajust it if needed.
also do you guys use compleate round rings ore the ones who are flat at the color!!. because thats more of a point for consirn including the way its been atachst to the collar. last but not least any close up pictures of the collars!! and prices. i have a frind that need a bunch of new collars

i think stillwater has the best collars out here, i be using them for about 3,5 years, never complains on my side about them,
and i always advice people to buy there collars there so they can experience the good quality and joy i have of this collars!

Used MAG and Stillwater, prefer Stillwater. Gonna order in this summer about 40 pieces so replace all MAG.

Stillwater is the best for many reasons!!!

 

Just recieved my new collar frm Stillwater kennels its freakn awsum!!!!I ordered it on sun,mon was a holiday,Stillwater shipped it out on tues and i got it fri morning.very well made,fast service,great price what else can you ask fr?!?!Thanx Stillwater i'll b ordering AGAIN!!!

 

I got my Stillwater collars in the mail monday. What can I say? They're awesome and I ordered another one!

 

I was going to let this thread be, but the claim that people are like sheep trying to discredit anything kind of got me. First off, ain't no sheep over here. Secondly I happen to have used both the collars in question here. WD's collars are solid and have held up over the past year. The are not fancy just solid collars. One reason for preferring Stillwater to WD is the rubbing. Run your finger across both collars and there is no question SW's collars rub less. I stayed away from the old seatbelt collars because the rolling issue. The new collars have fixed this by combinin two different materials. Also from a pure looks standpoint, SW wins hands down no contest. My intention is not to discredit anybody just to state my opinion based on the fact I have used both. Collars for bulldogs are getting hard to find just like everything else to do with bulldogs so I wish bot parties well.

 

I appreciate and respect your opionion. I have no doubt WD makes a quality collar. The problem I had with him was making claims about my collars that weren't accurate. That was the issue I had.

 

I also own both and I am happy with the two makers products. I have a question for stillwater. Does the seatbelt material breath? The reason I'm asking is because I was talking to a guy that lives where it gets real hot and he said his dogs were having skin issues with the seatbelt material and swithed back to nylon and that fixed his problem. Now let me add we never disscused who made it, we only talked about the material. My personal favorite is the SW 1.5" 4 ply!!! That is a serious collar!

 

Stillwater, I was recommended to get my next harness for my 55# male from you.
He was ripping/tearing/stretching everything else I tried, when he see's other dogs.
I asked around for the best, and your name came up.
Heard nothing but good regarding your quality.

Been buying these collars for nearly 5 years.. amazing!

 

I continue to stand behind his product. Harness is adjuatable, tough, and doing the job filing those toe nails.

 

Hey Shane, how about offering the 4 ply collar using all stainless steel hardware. That'll make it truly long lasting and the best. I tried to custom order a dozen camo collars using SS hardware from you but received nickel plated only.

 

I ordered a couple of dozen collars Sat. afternoon and recieved them today. Thanks Shane. Great to do business with you...........again.
