Mongrels and Parolees

ok, for my 2cents,not that anybody gives a damn, but oh well....I have to give Tia credit, she is providing good jobs to men who most likely would be unemployed otherwise,most of them have families, have done there time and are ready to turn there lives around, I know most people poo poo on this but unless you have been in that predicament you cannot understand. Also I believe the show should be called 'Street Dogs and Parolees'.Everyone has to understand that MOST anyone who watches Animal Planet doesn't even know what a true APBT looks like!Any dog with a big head to them is a pit.Tia works very hard to save these dogs as said before she is there to help any dog in distress nomatter what the breed or mix. Shame on whoever bred these dogs in the first place,letting them roam the streets to harass people and other pets only to make on the local news as 'Pit Bulls Attack', when in fact the dogs are some blue bully sh*t eater. She takes in all of these dogs has them medically checked out, ALL are nuetered, and in general puts a good image of 'pit bulls' out to the public, that is the main intention, much more than so many peddlers do, pumping out more and more and never a second thought of how they would end up or care, if there were only good breeders, there would NEVER even be any 'blues'(accept akc amstaff) Bullies, or mixes in existance.Only GOOD dogs would be bred appropriate pups would go to appropriate homes, most would be culled by the breeder.That leaves none in excess, but that would only be in a perfect world, this is not and that is why Tia and counless others are left to 'pick up the trash'.

 

Anyone getting an education off the TV is...lost. TV is not truthful it is entertainment so the show is just that, a show to entertain. There is no good image of these dogs to the "general public" the best image is no image..the more they promote the image of these dogs as an animal anyone could/should own the more trouble the breed faces. Let those of us who want them search them out, they can be found without TV advertisements. These people are not left to pick up the trash, they choose to make their lively hood that way, and the good 'ol tv is there to repackage, exploit and export this BS. Just another flea living off the blood of the breed.
