What is this?? Can anyone else show a bulldog that looked like this when young?

Nut Cruncher's brother seems to have a very long snout... my explain that there is some genetics for that in the pup.

 

i know thats what you said but you also said you let him off the chain. im just saying. it looks like a bird dog you have a black n white bird dog.....seems a lil funny.and are you trying to back pedal on the dna testing?

 

She has the look of some of her ancestors for sure, just sit on her Top and see how she turns out.

 

I'd take that pup in a heartbeat. It's the genetics. If that pup were all black, I bet no one would be having any doubts. We had one that looked JUST like that, but black, when he was about that age. Matured to be a taller/rangier longer muzzled dog, and man was he a bulldog. If it's still an issue for the owner of the pup, just have the DNA testing done. I believe you request the kit for like $4 from the ADBA, then when you mail the kit back in for testing, it's $50 I believe. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

 

Show me where I said I let my bird dog off his chain, If and when I do take him off his chain he goes from his chain to a leash I have in my hands. Back Peddle hell!!!!! The man that sold him his pup has told him over and over he would give him another pup, not because the pup is not a bulldog but because topbox was making such a big deal about a four month old pup. I was the breeder and I have also told him he can have another pup. He also received a grown dog to use in his breeding program at the time he got the pup so You tell me has he been wronged? As far as the dna testing, the dam of the male that produced this pup has passed away. I talked with adba, the only way to do a dna testing is to test both parents and then the offspring!!!!!!
This is a picture of the pup at eight weeks along with her sister in the back ground, one thing for sure she was as healthy as can be when she left my yard. I am sure she is still healthy, I know topbox takes good care of his dogs. Let see, what color was Stompanato, Cates' Patches, Boudreaux Cleo and her brother Judd 4x ? Black and white?

I never posted this thinking I had been done wrong.....i simply asked if anyone had any bulldogs that looks like mine...now that its turned into all of this bullshit and the DNA testing has been mentioned then thats what i would do if I was the breeder but im not....inbreeding can cause alot of things true..just so happens that it made mine look like a bird dog...Ide hate to breed her and throw some blue nosed bully bird dogs! and if by chance she is a mix by accident then i think everyone how has something like her should know.

 

ok so lets solve the dam problem instead of keep causing more problems. no one has contested the fact that the dam was different the only issue was the sire so just do the test on the sire and leave it at that. thats it if you feel he's sketchy dont do business with him but at the same time dont slander him because you speculate another dog hit the bitch.

 

Theres alot more than you know buddy and im not the only one with a dog and this problem.....The man said he would get them tested and i havent seen a test from him yet.....so that solves the problem...anybody want to buy the bitch??? Shes for sale cheap!

 

don't blame inbreeding because there's lots of inbred dogs & they still look like bulldogs. might not act like bulldogs but they sure as shit don't look like the elephant man. topbox this is why i told you nowadays breed to "ch before you breed to ch bloodline" because 99.9 % of these dogs are bred to sell.

obviously everyone seems to be stuck on the color the dog "should be" instead of what the dogs body looks like... lol. these dogs come in every dang color and pattern.

Venom i was offered a new pup and i think your missing the point .... there are other dogs out there bred the same way that look like a bird dog and I was just trying to alert the man about "hey i think something got to your bitch and you have some mixes out there that are being bred and sold as bulldogs" So im worried about the APBT breed more than this pup i have and its not like i got her to extend a nigerino line...I got her for an out on some other tight bred dogs i have and ended up with a mix. NIgerino seems like a good man but i think his pride has told himself thats theres no way possible this could happen when i know there is.

Depending on where you order the test it takes sometimes a couple of weeks until you get some results.
If he has a scanner, then he might could send you a copy of the bill he has to pay for testing.
So relax and keep the discussion private, if the test is made then you could prove either he´s pure or mixed.
What you have to do is also sending in a swap stick of your dog.
Best would be take them all to a vet that is documenting the testing properly to avoid further arguments.
So there have been some dogs with that coloration, Frank Rocca for example had one so don´t mind the colour.
