New pitbull owner suggestions?

How's it going everybody new to the site and a new owner of soon to be 8 week old Bella. 7lbs, updated shots as of yesterday she's a pitbull rottie mix. Currently switching her over to inovva large breed puppy chow cause of the Rottweiler side of her. In the process of being potty trained, very social dog loves playing with others despite there size and is around children of all ages everyday. Anything else I'm missing to help her stay healthy and grow up with no problems whether it be health or aggression

you sound like a very nice dog owner. you are going to have more work in understanding your dog. you should know both the roti history and the APBT's side to help you be as responsible as can be. know that they are both strong breeds and play the dominant role at all times. most importantly dont treat it as a other type of dog meaning a poodle or other. what i mean by this is never let you dog run arround in the front yard with out a leash or without a tether/chain tied onto him/her. rotis and apbt love to chase things that move keep that in mind. understand everything you can and you would be a responsible owner like most on this site. here are the pitbull commandments lol
01. Thou shalt NEVER trust thy Pit Bull not to fight
02. Thou shalt contain thy Pit Bull securely when not supervised by an adult
03. Thou shalt NEVER leave thy adult Pit Bull alone and unsupervised with another dog
04. Thou SHALT attend obedience classes most faithfully with thy Pit Bull
05. Thou SHALT keep thy Pit Bull socialized with ALL KINDS of people
06. Thy Pit Bull wilt NEVER be allowed off-leash in a public place
07. Thy Pit Bull wilt NEVER be allowed to roam free in thy neighborhood, EVER!
08. Thou SHALT take thy well trained Pit Bull out in public and show him/her off - on leash for good breed PR!
09. Thy Pit Bull shalt go forth into the world as an ambassador of the pit bull breed
10. THOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY WRONG DONE BY THY DOGS!

Spay or Neuter we don't need ANY more mixes

 

I plan on getting her spayed, I dont like the fact that people just leav two dogs together, they have puppies which a mixed bloodlines, what's a good age to have her spayed and will that affect her attitude at all?

 

I would wait until after the first heat. They have done new research that says the longer you wait, the longer the dog lives. If you can't manage a dog in heat without letting her get bred then by all means do it before 6 months. But not too early. Just my opinion. Can't say about the attitude. Some people say it does and some say it doesn't change their attitudes.
The research says to spay before 4 years of age for sure.

I haven't actually seen the parents, this is just what tey told me this picture is taken at 4 weeks does she look like she's of Pitt and rott descent?

 

Tri color doesn't always mean Rottweiler Pit bull mix but you wont know unless you have paper work until then take the necessary steps into making her a good dog and not headline.
