Where to look for plastic barrels

    Pretty simple question, any tips on where to look for plastic barrels... They used to sell em at the flea market for $7... now they don't... thanks.

    Try craigslist, or you can do what I do, liberate them from a store that went out of business. There is a place down here, damn near abandoned strip mall that had several of them lined up for trash, so I just liberated a couple.

    Make sure you rinse them real good from the car wash. Craigslist is were we got our last ones from. They were food grade barrels. Maybe thats why some of the dogs eat thier barrels. lol

    Our local feed stores sell them, and they're safe because they were used for horse medication.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I don't remember seeing any at the local feed stores but I will call around and ask... and visit some car washes too.

    im fortunate enough to live by a farmer that has them. if you know a cow farmer it wouldnt hurt to ask him

    How much $ were they selling them for?

    I remember seeing them being used in a car wash in the Breaking Bad series, but it didn't click until people mentioned that here.

    We get ours from a farmer also just look around theres no reason to pay for one plenty of people give them away for free.
