Many here in Australia no longer use foreign registries for papers. No clubs or shows due to breed ban issues these days. Handwritten peds are fine if you trust where you get your dogs. Unpedigreed dogs can be as good as 'well bred' dogs. Price often dictates whether dog gets a pedigree or not, + purpose you want one for. As long as you are happy with what you have, that's all that really matters, isn't it?

haha, thanks. i think thats what attracts the ladys, they love the way he looks. also when he was a pup it looked like he had been punched in the eye.....thats why i named him "Puncho"

heres a few of him after a good bath. he looks very pinkish and the strange thing i always notice after bathing him is there is a distinct gray line that seperates the brown from the white....wtf?

i have one question for the people that dont believe in pedigrees what do you have to compair your dogs traits to,does that mean your never going to breed it or just take a bigger crap shot at puting time in to see what they produce ?

big von nobody said they dont believe in pedigrees. But the good dogs r where u find them and this thread is dedicated to those that have found what they believe to be a good one minus the knowledge of pedigree. Now good at and for what is a diff matter. As for breeding i got no plans.Im just enjoying what i believe to be a good honest animal not perfect or ace anything but def worthy of feeding and breeding even tho i dont plan too

speaking on my behalf...this dog was a gift. his parents were great watchdogs and when i moved into my first home my cousin GAVE me a pup from their litter and he turned out to be a great watchdog and an even better pet. he rides with me and go on long walks through the woods with me. ive always kept good pets in the past for the same reason. i dont plan to breed him but i constantly get invitations to. i dont use him in the box nor on hogs........simply put he is my pet, my best friend.
