  3. yeah we were hunting along a canal, tons of brush piles and bushes and trees. The little bandit didnt really try n run he actually stopped stood up on his hind legs and was ready for a fight. his mistake! I didnt weigh him but guessing around 15 lbs.

I got one a few weeks ago with a 27# bitch. Didn't put up as much of a fight as I expected and that's for sure. One less pest going thru the trash is how I look at it.

  6. F$@k that I'm going for one I looked into them a few year back and pat patrick said he was breeding them ! But from what I hear the better ones are coming from over sea or right off of imports

  7. My patterdales are great with kids, I have a 7 year old and a 4 month old baby, my patts are 3 yrs and 6 yrs old. They are awesome with people and kids. Honestly they remind me of my bulldogs temperament wise, with a better nose. They get happy when any form of human approaches em! In fact my older dog sleeps with my son!

  8. Btw, just my opinion, no need to look overseas for a good patterdale, there's plenty here. We may be making a breeding this year ourselves.

well i would have to agree with PD That there are a lot of good ones here and if you think about it they were all imported . the original dogs came from the other side of the pound . and i do have a gyp out of some holand imports that is 16 mths and i cant say she is any better or wores then what i have now and they are great around my kid but hes 18 lol A Good dog is a good dog no matter ware it came from :-)

    Nice dog-
Doing some construction on my house. The other night a big fat raccoon broke in to our sunroom and was eating from a tub of dog food. I thought about putting my 9 month old apbt on him but thought twice.

  13. not sure how mature your apbt is at 9 mnths, but i almost always take one or both of my apbt's to "help" the little dogs when needed. Some of those big coons are hard on a little dog!

  14. nothing wrong with a little help....

i know 2 people i wouldnt hesitate to get a pat from close to me. Not sure why you would have to go overseas. For some reason everyone thinks if u want the best, whether it be a pat or bulldog, u gotta goto mexico or europe somewhere. Not the case...

  16. when i did a lil research on them most of them were off of imports or coming for over seas! I believe if it is worked then it is great stock that all!! And I want it to be true to it's standard
