do you feed your any dry food at all mate or are they on pure raw??

i mix raw with complete worker for my bitch she can run well lol shes like a wippet lol.

im going to try the market out and go get sum off cuts wings and all that see if they will sort me out.

  2. I know what you mean, theres so many yorkie terriers, border collies etc biting people that just goes un noticed and unreported, and I couldn't agree more with what you say about the owner of the dog, any dog in the wrong hands can be dangerous, and any dog in a good responsible owners care can be the perfect family dog. I think the law should change to reflect this, don't punish the dog/breed, punish the owners.
Like your bitch mate, yeah, you can see she's got alot of filling out to do, could be nice in a few months but as long as she's a good solid family dog then thats the main thing.

  3. I mix it up,raw and kibble mate, they are all on Greyhound worker dried food, then I feed Raw chicken and tripe or beef, mixed with some puree'd veg and brown rice, odd time throw in a raw egg and twice a week a teaspoon of colid liver oil. I go to the market too(butchers row) and any butcher Iam passing and get off cuts, huge bones covered in meat, chicken necks and backs and carcasses, any thing for nothing lol!! I give them this twice a week too.

Sometimes mix it in one meal, or if i have time, i'll do dried in the morning and raw when I get home from work.

im going to have a gander down the row lol yeah i mix mine up they go mental when the raw comes out the fridge lol

  6. 99% of it is free, or at the most its like 10p for a big bag of bones. its really good for them and the bones that are caked in meat are awesome, they eat the whole thing, its like a meal in itself.
Have seen that Wagg stuff, got a bag once but wouldn't overly recommend it, you can get great greyhound foods online for about the same price and its much better, doesn't look as' dry' as Wagg if that makes sense. Gain make really good greyhound food, as do Red Mills. I just see what works best with my dogs and they look really good on it at the moment.

  9. Nice one mate, Yeah, get on butchers row, they usually already have them on the counter bagged up and ready to go, and then just ask for any other off cuts etc, its all for free cos they only bin it at the end of the day. What are Gizzards? I know someone who goes to a butchers in Horsforth and gets huge amounts chicken necks/backs/carcasses for about £5 I think, ket me find out where it is and we can get in first!!
