    54xw that's amazing. It's a little hard for me to believe but others would know alot better than me. I know a colby dog had quite a few back in the day. considered by alot of people to be the best match dog ever. I think he had 20+ wins.
     
  3. I would think that most of those wins were against dogs of different breeds. If you lived during the depression, you would easily make a few pennies for your family if you had a good dog. Having a good bulldog would almost asure a meal for the night if you could find someone that would make a wager on their dog.

    thats a lot of events for a dog to handle. does it make a difference what breed the went against?

    Probably not in the older times before this was such a big breed. There werent as many good dogs at that time so racking up wins could of been much easier if you didnt run them into the best competition in the country.

    yeah,, the 24xw was the highest i'd seen of notable dogs. but i'm waaaaaaaaaayy off being an expert in the area of past gamedogs. still takin in all i can.
