the good ol' days, things aren't what they used to be.

Back in the 80's SDJ was the main mag to get your information from shows.Yes I'm sure their was some fake matches reported but all in all the magazine was the best to keep you inform on matches and what other blood was doing.If you knew some people u could call them up if they was at the shows to double check.Its funny but the ones that bash SDJ now ,but back in the day they was advertising in SDJ and reporting their matches in their.I used to look forward to getting my SDJ in the mail.Then I would go over it front to back,read the show reports ,and then the ads.If their was a show I wanted to know about I would just call some people that was their.SDJ gave us a resource to check things out.The mag wasn't perfect but it was the best at the time.

 

june 9th buddy and if you have a grandson of a famus dogman bring him and if you have a deacon dog bring it for our special best deacon dog fun class i know of 6 real good ones that will in the class ,,, the good ol days are back

We cant push a pause button just when we think everything is perfect =) Internet kinda changed the world - the way we communicate, the way we get our information and so on. I do know what you mean though.. I knew folks in the game who NEVER registered thier dogs until they proved themselves.. They also could still sell pups off of thier CH's and GRCH's with a single dog application for $800.00 or more, easy. Pretty papers dont mean shit to a dog, just as he don't know how he's bred... When you put 'em in the box, the bullshit stops..

Personally, I like the ugly, wirey, hound-doggy, bulldogs that everyone bets against.. all heart and no quit... Who gives a damn how they are bred, right..?

This what I mean, I read your show post slay remarks about grandson showing up.The grandson is pushing close to 70 years old.You ramble on and on about things that has nothing to do with any of this.No one has tried to stir the pot but only you with your indirect comments.As for judging the grandson was judging before you got into this breed.As for the closest, you don't have it, your uncle didn't have it, not even Dolly was as close as Jocko Jr. That doesn't include Bugsy the grandson owned.
