How much would it cost to me to import a dog from usa to europe? What is a reasonable price?

It depends what country you're shipping to, as the different laws regarding importation can have positive or negative affects on the cost of getting the dog to you.

In my case, it would be sweden. And since my country is one good old country that wanna grab as much money from you as possible, i'll bet there would be some costs for importing a dog. But not worse than I could handle. Any idea about pricing is welcome.

If I remember right, it ends up costing about €1,500 to import a dog I Ireland, not including the $500-$1,000 for the pup himself.

Also, I think that two dogs can be imported in the one crate, which would be beneficial if you were/are trying to start a yard.

They're rough figures going from what friends have told me, I haven't imported anything myself (yet)

I wouldent complain to much if I could get away with paying 2000$ for shipping over a dog I really, really wanted.

Not trying to hijack your thread or anything, but what kinda dogs are your after? Going by your nick i can guess and I know for a fact that europe has some great Eli dogs. This would save you a lot of trouble and a lot of $

No worries, I appreciate your answer. Well if anyone knows anything about good breeders in europe, feel free to PM me. Im looking for Eli, Jeep, Nigerino. But im not hooked up on names. A good dog is a good dog, so if there's other bloodlines that seem interesting I might be up for those to.

Sent two pups to Brussels about 4-yrs. back I believe it was under
$500.oo US for the shipping, the pups had to have international micro
chips and international health cert. the chips were about $40.oo each
and the health cert. about $100.00

As long as the pups were around 6-weeks they could fly in the same
    crete.

Yeah it actually seemed quite okay to import a dog, sure there's some paper work that needs to be done. But it's cool. Once again, thank you for your answers fellas.
