Tightening up loose stomach skin

After her first heat cycle, my staffy's nipples enlarged and began to hang a little. She gained a little weight due to less exercise and more confinement during her cycle as we have an intact male.

I've got her weight down and she has tightened up but the skin around her stomach is loose and her nipples are still down a bit. Is there anything I can do to tighten her up?

I'm afraid if she is exercised more or loses more weight the loose skin will be more pronounced.

feed with a bit more than regular amount of dog food and walk your dog. you will notice that skin will begin to tighten. works for me.

Since my original posting, I have maintained the amount of food, but continued to be more regular with exercise. She gets plenty of free time in the yard to walk, run, play with the other dogs, etc... But I've tried to maintain a once per day ball and retrieve session. 15-20 minutes. When we first started, she would sprint for the ball, and trot back. Now, she sprints for the ball and runs back.

She has tightened up nicely with more visible muscle.
