Do you think she is a full Pitbull?

I bought a puppy off some guy last week. I questioned him about the mum and he said she was american bulldog cross staffie. I personally think she looks more like a pitbull but I'm no expert. As a pitbull site im guessing most of you will have a better idea than me

The breeder should know how she's bred more than anyone else,I'd just go on what he said.

 

I suppose. I just wasnt sure as the bloke didnt seem too comfortable talking about her and didnt have any papers. Also with the dangerous dogs act in the uk im guessing alot of owners dont register there dogs and didnt want to let out if she was pitbull. Either way I got a nice little pup. cheers

 

Ambull x staff I think but u can't be sure what was the mum ? And be a lil bit carful what u say on forums if ur from the uk I have herd about RSPCA looking for dogs that are of type on them don't no if it's true but they are slimey bastards lol

No matter the cross he looks a nice dog I like the colouring on him

 

Thick tail, thick legs, thick body, short snout....my best guess would be little to no pit bull in her.

 

P.s the best thing to do I think is take the breeders word I have a cross and it can drive u mad because they can look like alsorts of breeds for 3 years I was on the net looking at dogs thinking he could be that he could be this I only seen a pic of the sire so always had douts My self best thing is to just enjoy the dog and take it as he is what the bloke said

And it don't matter if it's a pit or a staff cross if the police want to kill him they can it's sad but true it's type dogs not pitbulls so any thing they say is a pit type it is end off even if u have full peds saying its a ambull or lab or anything if they say it's a type of pit it's gone I found the best thing u can do is train ur dog from as early as pos to be as obedient as pos so if they stop u u can at least show them it's not a stats symbol it's a pet that u put a lot of time into to make sure it says out of trouble and I never let my dogs run free in public places because of other dogs u will always be in the wrong coz of ur dogs looks least if he's on the lead and a dog comes for a fight u will prob still get the blame but u got a bit to fall back on it sucks living her big time to many ideot about that wreck things for the good fokes

sad but true, make sure shes well socialised and as obediant as possible. if ur in the uk make sure to get her licensed as a staffordshire bull terrier cross and have her microchipped. the more u do to prove ur a responsible will help ur case if your ever questioned on it. but best just to stay clear of the authorities unless u cant help it. BSL is a joke but we have to live with it cos i doubt its gna change anytime soon

Nice looking boy. Just love your dog, look after your dog and keep it away from trouble. BSL is shite. You can't own any dog that even looks like a particular type yet you can own and allow rotties, akitas, bull mastiffs, GSDs etc to run free in public. Go figure...

It is what you are told . Considering the varied looks of a APBT sure if you had papers it would pass in the looks. Since you like your dog lots I would keep it to you self as to the heritage . You know you actually might have a Lab / Boxer mix
Even the american bulldog cross staffie have future breed specific fear written on it.
