if you couldnt have a bull bred dog

thought id see what people would choose if they couldnt have a bull bred dog what breed of dog would u keep and why?

 

Easy jack russell terrier game and a fine worker and companion will always find a way to earn its keep plus a ton of atatude

 

yep...a small and nasty terrier would work for me.
id have to change some of the critters i hunt, but id still be hunting with some sorta dog. id survive without a bulldog LOL

 

a well bred german shepard ,they re smart, tuff and i alway s had one till lately .

 

Id prob go with some Austrailian Shepards..My family has cows be cool to have dogs to help out.

 

I hear Patterdales are worth a look, that would be my selection

 

i would get a dog i could carry in a purse and look really harmless.

 

id probably go for a lakeland myself. had one before and he was bonkers. not a fan of jrt's. like shepards too but their coats are a nightmare to keep around the house, aside from that they are a fantastic dog

Btw I wouldn't have the common jrt that most people seem to relate to gypsys have allways bred there dogs just a little different lol

 

Depends what i wanted to do with the dog. Just for a pet,probably a Boston Terrier.

 

Probably a doberman or great Dane

I like terriers, had a mini schnauzer before great attitude, could track and hunt mice, just too small probably something with more size than a JRT or mini schnauzer maybe an Irish terrier even though they maybe be soft these days.
But I really like hounds as well. A sight hound like a grey or deer maybe a plot or ridgeback. can't go wrong with a bluetick either.

 

that or an Irish wolfound would be my second choice.

 

I'd go with jagd terrier or patterdale terrier or a working parsons terrier
in that order
