agressive towards females

Ok so im curious if anyone has ever had this problem. My boy (10 months) is leary of strangers, not agressive unless they are females. I sold a bike and he barked at the guys but was ok when i talked to him lol. But when his wife got out of the truck my boy went apeshit. Hes generally well behaved but this boggles me.

 

probably picked up a hint of fear from the lady who was getting out, plus it may have startled the feller?

 

Your dog way introduced to the man as you were talking and up walks a stranger from the side this is an outsider he did what he should have ..for some reason he felt he should protect you and your new friend ..

 

Hes done that once before when a guy came over about a bike(i fix and sell bikes/atvs) the guy got out and he was ok but his wife got out a few mins later and i honestly thought he would bite her if she got any closer. Maybe im overreacting but it seems its only happened with the women. Although as Rroscoe said they did get out after we(guys) were already talking talking.

 

I had this redhead chick that was a friend of mine and for some strange reason my house dog couldnt stand her..If she came to my house he would become a 45 lb lap log and did not want her anywhere around me at all..So far she has been the only one but it was enough to make me a lil nervous..This past weekend thier was a chick there and he was fine didnt seem to be bothered by her.So i dont know maybe he dont like redheads? jk

 

Let me elaborate a bit, i shouldve said he acts alot more aggressive towards women than men. Ive had guys stop by and hell bark and carry on but doesnt growl and shit like he does toward women. Heaven forbid a woman ever tries to break in lol.

Maybe your dog hates peanut butter? My dog is just sexist i believe. Seriously im wondering if it could have anything to do with my wife and kids being home with him all day? Just makes no sense to me. He goes off on my neighbor too and she sees him everday when she brings her daughter over before school?

McCoypitbulls, ive always wondered if the women are more intimidated by him then the men but my neighbors not scared of him? Im beginning to think my wife is "the dog whisperer who hates women" lol
