In the picture, it's small and dark but it looks like the dogs have red noses, right? That's liver pigment, not blue.

Alright, we just had this discussion on Pit Bull Chat, so to save me some time, I'm going to quote with others said. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a genetics expert but I do know some stuff. :) First, all dogs are either black or liver. Black diluted is blue and liver (red, chocolate, etc) diluted is lilac (isabella, champagne, numerous other terms are out there too). So, if those dogs were blue or any variation of it, their nose leather would be gray. The pictured dogs look like they would be chocolate if they didn't have the dilution gene.

Not sure if this is proper, but here's the link to that thread.

Ive seen it argued that liver or chocolate is actually black diluted. Is this true? If its is, then chocolate like blue is a dilute of black and even though u guys have reached a conclusion on pitbull chat, then the pink /rednose should also be part of any dilute from black.
But thats neither here nor there when it comes to apbts as colour has never been what makes them worthy of the breed name.
