Hello all! My girl Sadie has bald spots developing on her back and I have no clue why. There is no skin irritation nor do they bother her at all (no scratching). She's been to the vet and he also isnt sure what's going on. She's in great health otherwise....it just doesnt look like it now! Any advice would be helpful and thanks in advance.

From what i can see off the dog she look's in good order,,a-lot of bull breeds lose hair, have thining spots.,bald spots,,etc;some blood-lines have it worse than other lines if your dog ain't worried and your vet is not to worryied, then relax and get a few more tests done,ie;maybe her bedding is the cause, something she eating (allergys)go to vet college let them check her over.and get her the once over....g-luck...

I would try to change her food to see if that helps and apply some New Stock (feed stores carry it) on the balding spots and it should start coming back.

Have a buddy who's dog had a similar skin ailment, when he put the dog on bottled water his skin cleared up, give it a try as you have nothing to lose.

Nothing to lose except your money....if ya worryed a-bout tap water leave it standing in a container for 24 hrs it will fine for dogs...remember ya can kill a dog with kindness ie;give it chocolate,milk,on+on...are ya giveing the dog some-thing...that it can't tolerate.////////////

  7. Thanks for you reply! Youre right, neither me, my dog or the vet are too worried. I bought salmon oil pills last night so hopefully they help but i will take her for a once-over if not. If it is allergies, can I giver her anything for it?

  8. Thanks blackclound and bue8bull. I dont have nothing to lose so will try the water change. I dont give her any chocolate or milk but didnt know milk was bad so thanks for the tip. I just changed her food recently to something more natural and she seems to enjoy it without any reactions.
