heard my dogs going crazy looked outside and a big ass full blooded German Shepard was in the yard.Never got close to any of the chain spots and he let me take his old collar off and put a stillwater collar on him.Luckily i also had a extra tie out available so I secured him on it till I found his owner..I found his owner and he went back home so it was a happy ending for all lol.I was surprised he let me take his old collar off and put another one on him...big sumbitch to.

his neck was so big I could only tighten 2 wholes with a stillwater collar and still get 2 fingers under it..Man was his owner thrilled to get him back safely.Never growled at me once.

this dog has a pen he keeps him in ...so the collar he had on i assume was just for handling and leash purposes..when i put that stillwater collar on him and slid 2 fingers under it I felt some pretty big muscles...lol i thought he was mostly hair..I felt that and i said man i hope he dont attack me lmao.

yeah they have some power behind them, my uncles would try to body slam people into the lake if you were stood close to the edge and he had more than enough power to do it lol.

Glad it all worked out without incdent. I hulk stomped a shepard/lab mix last night while walking my LIL Miss Geach. Big ass dog pushed its owners screen door right open and ran twards me and her with its cur stripe all the way up. I stomped his ass in front of his owner. It was an accident so I wasnt the dick i would normally have been in this situation. I apoligized to the owner for putting the boots to his dog but told him had I not done it his dogs face woul never look the same again. He was very nice about it and said sorry like 30 times. I got douche bag that lives on my block with a byb red/red nosed APBT that the asshole just lets out his front door with no leash. 3 times in 2 weeks the dog has seen me with one of mine and started coming over, i just jog the other way but im to the point now that next time he comes at me I think i might just shoot him. Ive told the guy several times to put it on a lead, he dont seem to care. Ive been looking up reprocutions for discharging my 9 in the city since last night. I cant see getting in trouble since the dog is loose and coming towards me. Id like to just let her wipe the street clean with the dog but feel i would probally get in more trouble for doing that than if I just send a hot one in his head. Hate living in the city limits.

There is info on shooting strays in the Conservation Guide in my state and it clearly says not to do it, because it is a violation of a law, but your state may be different. I was just telling Dream the other day, that I had a gun in my pocket when I was walking a young male and here comes a monster sized mutt looking like he would love to bite me. I would have gladly ended his life, but I don't need that type of ugly attention if someone happened to see it.

I have an "irresponsible owner" problem around here. It drives me crazy. It's bad enough that I have to let my Catahoula out side first to check our fenced yard for any neighboring dogs. This one guy's monster blue bully thing would get in our yard all the time and I tried to drill it into his head that it was unsafe for his dog to be loose. He never took me seriously because his dog is huge and mine are "skinny". One morning I let the dogs out and that dog was waiting at the front door. Well, the guys dog is fine now. He said the vet bill was $2,000 but he takes me seriously now.

damn MP i bet that man learned his lesson.

@ AGK, not recommending you to shoot the dog but that has happened in my area a few times and the police never did anything to the one discharging the firearm even when in a subdivison. They always say the owner should have control of their dog and who ever shot was in the right, which is true.

Don't get me wrong, I dont want to shoot the dog at all, id rather the fucktard who ownes it would just contain it but my 8 year old daughter is with me usually when this happens and it really pisses me off that someone would own one of these dogs and just let it run free. Its not the dogs fault its owners are idiots but if my lil one is with me and any dog over 40 lbs runs up on me I'll merk that fucker regardless of what may happen legally. I would fight it anyway in court as the dog posses an immedite threat to my daughter, my dog and myself and i am licensed to carry consealed and see this situation no different than a person running up on me with a weapon and feel shooting it is well justified and with in my right to defend myself as well as my kid. I try to stay away from the area but its just not really possible.

Yeah I have my license, carry everywhere, and would drop one as a last resort too. I am just saying that is bad press I don't want, but if it's him or me it will be me all day.

This is the catch 22, I dont know if it would do anything or not but I know these dogs and I sure wouldnt take the chance of being wrong with the most precious thing in my world. It would never get that close to us as every time this happens I have one of my own dogs with me and While I go way out of my way to avoid an incident like that from ever happening, but if it came down to it, Id let which ever one was with me smash the shit out that mutt all while I keep hold of my leash. I just go the other way to avoid it as much as i can

I hear that. I dont want to either and would only do it if it didnt stop coming. By then though, i usually will just turn around and jog the other way.
