  1. She is a great dog. Never acted aggressively towards anyone. It's just that my stupid ex left them together alone in the family room with a (I think) 5 year old that is never around dogs. This stupid little brat will annoy the shit out of anything she comes into contact with (even me). Who knows what the hell she did to the dog or for how long before she nipped her.
I'd rather put the ex down rather than the dog lol.

  2. My view on it is , a pet apbt should never show agression at humans period, if it dose byebye.

if a dog on a chain dose it i would consider what to do. But a house dog shows agression one time and then takes the stareway to heaven.

If you don't want to shoot it .... Sell it.

Personally I don't agree with animals as pets.... Just workers be it box, hunting or guardian. Now if said animal is very good in the field then your answer is obvious. Zebo was a great match dog that was a tough keeper and changed many hands.

But the problem is YOUR indecisiveness. Your bitch is without doubt just another yard shitter that you have become attached to. Man up..... Better dogs have been culled than your bitch.

    Seriously

  4. Good and fair point Hammerhead. The only problem I have is my ex doesn't understand how to look after these dogs properly and I couldn't take it with me. Screw the stupid bitch, its her problem now.

Mate, people like you are what's wrong with this breed. You come on here belly aching about how stupid your ex and her kid is because your dog bit the kid. You ask for everyone's advice, then you ignore what is offered once again blaming the kid and her mother. So when the dog bites again who you gonna blame then? If its your dog take responsiblity and do the right thing. If you want to get absolution for being a dickhead go to confession and stop wasting everyone's time on here. Don't worry about going round saying how stupid your ex is, you have shown yourself to be the stupidest person in your whole sorry little tale.

  6. WTF are u on about? I don't have the dog u idiot. If I did, I know how they need to be handled and this would never have happened. So STFU with this shit you are spinning.

Use your own judgment, you are the only person who has to live with the decision. No oone here will remember the advice we gave you 20 minutes from now. ask yourself if the dog is a risk to people around you and if its worth the risk. Ask yourself if u can do a better job of keeping the dog out of trouble so something more serious doesn't happen next time. Now decide...

Let me put it this way anytime a dog bites the owner is ALWAYS at fault! You control this dog the dog can't bite anyone if you make the right choices that includes who you leave the dog with and let the dog around ... Accidents happen but it's still YOUR fault! APBT owner's need to stop placing blame on others and start pointing the finger at themselves. Regardless of what role the mother and the child played in all this it's still your dog! If the dog bites someone guess what? You're at fault and you should be ... This is not let's play the blame game this dog is your responsibility anything it does under your ownership is always your fault.

It doesn't matter you own the dog and you put it with someone who is wreck less and doesn't know how to properly handle a bulldog and supervise it around children it's still YOUR fault Polar Ice is absolutely correct. And if that dog bites anyone else you will be held responsible for it and you should! How are you going to blame someone else for your dog bitting? If you left the dog with someone like that in the first place you need to man up and take responsibility for it. Take the dog back and control the dog or put it down bottom line...

I think AGK, Sadie, Polar ice and I are all saying the same things to you, only Polar ice punched you in the mug with it. Which is what I think is the best way, and I commend Polar for doing so, as from your replies, I see now that it's what you need to hear and how you apparently need to hear it. Make precautions so these things DO NOT happen, or at least have a slim to none chance of happening. NOT AFTER, should you be asking or wondering what to do. Cowboy up and learn what to do before you get a dog, then take responsibility for what the dog does or has done.

If any dog bites a kid of mine it's dead I don't care who it is ... The point is handle your buisness responsibily if you can't or you don't have enough common sense to know who to leave your dog with than you don't need the dog. It's been said in this thread by a few folks it's all about taking responsibility an animal can only do what you let them do by not ensuring proper saftey measures you put others at risk and when shit happens it's your fault if an animal becomes too much for you to control or handle that it jeopardizes the safety of yourself and others it needs to go bottom line.

This is such a difficult question for me to answer. I don't like kids that much, and some of their bad asses do things that will make a dog bite them. This is NOT the kids fault though, because ANY adult should realize that.

But on the other hand I have never been dumb enough to leave a dog alone with a 4 year old child. Will my dogs bite a 4 year old for harassing them? Hell, I don't know and never will. Would I put a dog down for biting a kid that was harassing it? Depends on the circumstances. A corrective nip? No. Mauling? Yes. I'd probably put the dog out of the damn house and work the dog instead. If the dogs sole purpose was companionship, then it would have to go.

  14. Ok guys I understand what u guys are saying. The only problem is the laws over here are shit. I left the first night believing everything would be alright by the next day, only to find out the next day that she had changed the locks , and had two police officers call around to my parents house with paperwork stating that if I went to the house again that I would be arrested, when I hadn't said or done anything at all to her. Do you guys understand the shit situation I am in? She knows the dog is great with people but shit with annoying little kids but leaves them together. And on top of all this shit, if I even turn up at the house I will be arrested. Pretty shit hey.

Well I don't know how the property laws work over there but maybe you should call the police and show proof the dog is yours and see if they can escort you to pick the dog up. Hope you get the dog though it's not a good idea that the dog be left there after what happened.

  16. Give the dog away to someone with a big farm

  17. Trust me guys I've looked into it all. Over here the dog has to be registered in the owners name with the local council. I went up there the other day and found out that she had already taken my name off the registration so I don't have a leg to stand on. Trust me, this bitch knew what she was doing.

Sound like some bullshit! First off its supposed to be your dog and is all great but it bit a kid, not a great dog. Second how can somebody take your name off reg papers the next day and it's not even there dog? Then this 5yr old little kid is stupid because two stupid ass adults weren't on their shit!

Go get the dog and dig two holes _ yours first

  19. WTF are u on mate. She asked me to leave. I did. In Australia it doesn't matter about registration papers, all that matters is registration with the council that you are in. All she had to do was ring up and take my name off which she did and I don't have a leg to stand on. Do you get it now? The laws over here are shit!!! Especially for males.

  20. And the dog bit this little girl when I wasn't there. I wouldn't have been stupid enough to leave that stupid little girl on her own poking and prodding any breed of dog.
