2nd generation american here. Mothers side from Scotland, fathers side from Ireland.

 

That's brilliant rallyracer, thanks for that and the response. Doesn't matter where you where born, if you got that in your genes then you remain a Celt or Ceilteach.......CelticAmerican. What bloodlines ya working with may I ask? When you go back in the pedigrees of most of the modern bloodlines and I mean way back many generations and even not so way back, you will notice that the surnames of most of the breeders from way back and even not so way back were predominately Celtic people or of Celtic origins that had emigrated to the USA from Ireland or Scotland. I am just interested in finding out about and communicating with Celtic people that are involved with these dogs and maybe make some new friends etc.

3rd generation, family emigrated to Boston like a lot of other families.

 

The Irish Gaelic dialect is a bit different to the Scottish Gaelic dialect that I am sort of familiar with but thank you I got it translated.

 

That means :

I am inside you and waiting on your mail, My friend.......... You mean that.......

 

I will be putting you to again RR? before i knew your irish good?? huh?

 

Beside, and I am sure mines broke a bit there fella.
He got my drift and let me know my dilect is off - no biggie

 

RR was the key - lol and he probably figured out what I meant, by the greeting he got from me.
