Regardless what you feed, the "proof is in the pudding"!! Feed what works for your dogs.

 

HaHa Red id like to know the truth on that one myself.I dont believe everyone here is feeding grain free either.Heck I actually think this has been one of the better feed threads I have saw.It surely hasnt been boring lol.Ya know when people are more honest about stuff like this I believe the info is much better.Like i said I been blasted bfore about my choice of feeds.

we think if you feed this royale ..and your dog stil gets a skin problem ....you have a real problem.......
sometimes ad one DROP of oil on their food ...

 

My bulldogs loved natural balance from DVP but my shih tzu was getting dry coat hair falling out n ish.

I never had issues feeding grain, corn, rice or oats to my dogs in the past...I had issues when I went "grain-free" though. Loose stools and dry, flakey coats....but that's just my experience. I know others who had great results on grain-free kibble.

 

Lol, i got a girl. Its hers but its mine ya dig, lol. as far as he is concerned he is a Bull-Shih, or a Pit-Tzu.

 

Same here. I think the grains may serve an underlying purpose other than filler.

 

Cynthia you do bring up a good point. Some dogs will do fine on one food some not soo good so to feed your whole yard of 20+ dogs the same cheap feed and expect all of them to do well on it is naive. You might have to get a bag of better feed for a couple of them.

 

when you ask 9 of the 10 people ...how much % protiene in your food or % fat .
they say : he ....then they have to walk to the bag ..to check it ....lol

 

lol keystone thats a very true.People will also look at the ingrediants and see it starts with a meat and lol that means its good right? lol..they dont bother to look at the protien ,fat ratio.

 

We have 11 dogs. And only 2 are on a different fee. The old man is on a prescription joint diet and one I am trying on TOTW for upcoming shows. The one on TOTW has done great on Pro Plan just trying something different this time. To see how he does. And is far really no difference.

 

I agree 100%. And that is why everyone and their mama has an opinion on feed. Lol

 

What's his dog's in my peds have to do with it? I have my opinion, he has his n you have yours. It don't matter to me one way or the other what someone else does on their yard. We all have our different ways n I ain't hating nobody for that. If we all did everything the same shit sure would get boring.
