Who took the kids trickortreating?If so how much did they get?

:pI was just wondering if anyone else took the kids trick or treating.? If so did they get a ton? Or totally ripped off?Personally my two boys are young, I took them out from 6 to 7:30 and they got over 6 lbs.!! This is CRAZY considering I stayed in my neck of the woods so we had to drive between houses, we went to 6 houses and the local store. I simply cannot believe the amount of GOOD CANDY they got,Snickers,Kitkats,M&Ms,Skittles, ect, not even 1 pack of an off brand or something cheap.Kindof sad to me though that 5 of the places we went were all very nice older folks that had not had any trickor treaters yet,my boys were the only ones there fore they got handfuls or they just gave me all they had, ready to call it a night. Do folks just not take there kids out anymore door to door? Just me(my area)? I would like to know if anybody else had a night like mine.Or if you live in a city how did your kids do?Just wondering.I must say that I am very blessed to live in the country and we have known everybodys home we went to tonight,otherwise things may have been totally different.

 

Me and the wife took our girls out the racked up told me not to eat all the good stuff while they were sleeping lmao! Had a good there were four scary houses a Zombie back yard, the college kids did a real nice haunted yard/ house good times we also took the new pup out with us. Yis Ole Man

 

It was pouring in our neck of the woods last night..But we went anyway and the kids got over a bucket full ,some in my pockets..lol . Last year we had a snow storm on Halloween so atleast it wasn't snow again..

 

Candy Security!




My son did pretty well. It was his first time trick or treating, so it wasn't a marathon or anything, but he got some good stuff. Ruby the candy security dog got taken home early for acting a fool. Too many other dogs out trick or treating...

 

I love the candy security dog. I too almost took our pup but it was way too hot. I have learned before that sticky sweaty kids and dogs dont mix too well unless there riding in the back of the truck.Last year every one was crammed in the seat with me in the truck with no a/c.That was nuts!! My kids are crazy even without candy, after they go insane!I was about to take our pup but decided not too.Its been a few years since the Last time I took our grown dog (Tank) I left him in the car (my mom's car),it was cool enough since it was dark so I just left the windows down enough and walked for a few houses, when we got back to the car I noticed the windshield was foggy,and that stupid dog must have seen a cat because he literally took chunks out of the head reast on the top of the seats, the dash board had a soft feel to it and he picked that clean too. I knew I was dead! My mom doesn't even allow anyone to eat in her car, much less my stankin dog that scalped the dash and picked the seats clean.I never was allowed to borrow her car again.
