Heres What Im Going To Do.im Going To Walk Down The Street With My Dog,collecting Signatures From Talking To People,trying To Educate Them On Apbt's,show Them Theyre Not The Viscious Animal People Claim They Are,and Collect As Many Signatures As I Can To Send To Local And State Officials,telling Them That We Dont Want Our Breed Destroyed Banned Or Whatever. Get Fukking Active Man!hippies Do It For The Trees,and Against War,,why Cant We Do It For Our Dogs????

when my pup was younger i would take him to the dog run for 2 reasons... one so he could run and play and have fun, and the other was to educate the other people that were there about the breed. they could see how well adjusted and happy the breed can be when raised correctly. they could ask me questions and i would answer them. A lot of the people i talked to didn't know anything outside of what they saw in the news about them. Many of them didn't even know what a pit bull looked like. I felt like my sweet pup was a great ambasador for his breed. Now that he's older, he's acting more like a pit bull so i don't take him to the dog run anymore but i still walk him around. I sometimes take him down bike paths, where i often come acrost people who want to pet him, and after a face full of kisses they want to know what kind of breed he is. It's amazing to see their reactions when i say the 7 letter swear word...Pit Bull.... Soon as i have a little more time outside of school i plan on continuing the walks in public...
that's a good idea to get signatures from people... i might consider it and deliver it to my law makers....

 

We walk our dogs in public and answer any questions people may have on the breed or our dog. Our dogs especially liked going to the park and to Petsmart.

 

We Can Also Get Ourselves On The News Or In The Newspaper I Know Here Its Pretty Easy And Alot Of People Read The News Paper Here

 

Dixie , Rebel & I have been doing what we can to educate in our area. My Daughter has a bunch of friends that come over to play with her and Ihave talked to all of the kids' parents and let them come over and meet Dixie & Rebel.All of the neighborhood kids love to come and meet my two dogs.Some of the neighborhood kids even got together and bought some chewtoys for them.

 

Not going to go to petsmart untill they turn there rule book around and allow pit bulls, and pit bull type dogs to get groomed, It F#@%ing stupid if you ask me, and as for walking with a signature sheet and getting signatures I think I might make one up online and take my dogs for a walk twice a day, Maybe 3 times seems like a good idea to me...PEOPLE GET OFF YOUR @$$E$ AND SAVE OUR BREED...From being deystroyed.....


On my signature page I am gonna ask people would you rather a Pet Pit bull walkin around on a leash or would you rather a Childmolester with out a leash???

We haven't brought the dogs to petsmart in a while. Pit bulls are allowed to be groomed at the petsmart here. But I like the idea of what you are putting on your signature page.

 

i work at the petsmart here and all breeds are welcome for grooming and to come in and shop. I take my dog to work with me all the time

 

For almost three years now, I have written to people all over the country, and into Canada about our breed. My car looks like a pitbull shrine, with all my pro pitbull stickers(My son won't even drive it anymore!!!!lol!) I ALWAYS wear my two pitbull bracelets: "Pitbull Pride", and "Stop BSL". I wear pitbull attire EVERYWHERE, ESPECIALLY when I'm out riding my scoot, and I bring Venus EVERYWHERE a dog is allowed to go, just to educate folks, and show them the wonderful benefits and traits of this breed. The bracelet seems to gain the most attention, as most people ask, "What's BSL"? Then I get into this l-o-n-g conversation about it. I'm AMAZED how many people are really unaware of it, and how angry they are when they hear about it.
It's ALL about educating people.....

I have been going out and talking to people for sometime now. I think that we can get the stuff stoped if all dog owners get together and fight it. Most of the people that I have come across think it is just a bulldog thing. When I tell them of all the other breeds that are targeted as well, they are shocked!! Me and my boy go out and all the kids around here love him and he loves the attention he gets form them. Then when I tell the parents that he is a pit bull they are surprised at how well manered he is and good with people and he wont kill their kids. I have made some see the truth but others are just close minded fools!! Like Suki said ....one voice at a time.

 

Might be One Voice at a time but remember how many your speaking for....that can't speak for themselves,(our pets) We are being there voices. And we need to be there LOUD voices.

yes yes yes!! This is what im thinking, ok, first, we need someone on the site that is good with editing and can put together about an hour show, then, all of us on the site need to send this person short videos of our dogs doing tricks, playing with the kids, just being normal dogs, and especially playing with kids..have the show showing a BUNCH of these short clips of our dogs doing this stuff. Then we have to figure out how to get it on TV, and on a network that will air in all states. Also we will need someone on this show that is well educated on the breed that will tell all the positive stuff and also explain how the BSL is stupid and that these dogs are not naturally human aggressive and how the media only speakes of pitbull attacks and no other breed attacks. Lets do this..I have plenty of video of the kids playing with my dogs i can send to get this started, anyone that can put together a good video for a show?
