goes any know much about this dog? does anyone know how he's producing?

i was hoping to hear from people who have dogs off casper and who have possibly seen him in the pen.

I have seen him, but I have not seen him work. I heard he was a good one and that some of his offsprings were coming along good.

 

i agree,what a better place to get the info.

 

He's a good dog but I don't think his production career is extremely old. Your best bet is to find a board dedicated to Earl Jr. dogs and ask there.

personally, i wouldnt ask a peddler about one of his dogs. ask owners of offspring that actually do thier dogs, not just breed em.

not saying casper isnt a good one, or a good producer, but your ears will get filled with what you want to hear from a salesman.

 

A good dog no doubt but why not go to the source with Jordan and Co.

 

I dunno ... Jordan & Co. are a biased source as well seeing as they hate Phil's guts.

 

I dont think they hate anyone. Jordan just doesnt want their hard work getting watered down by producing way too many litters at a time. It was the same with Frisco dogs at first. They bred the socks off those early Frisco dogs, and now the percentages on alot of Frisco dogs are low. Nothing wrong with slowing downa little and breeding best to best, but when you sell too many at a time then it is hard to know what is the best.

 

I know why they're upset - he took a line they'd been privately developing for prime hunting dogs & began mass producing it. And I'm sure they put a lot of hard work into the Earl Jr. line. But have you seen what they say about Phil??? They called that man everything but a child of God & have made some of the nastiest hate-filled comments I have ever seen. They have some real venom when it comes to Phil. Maybe hate is too strong a word ... but then again, considering some of the comments they've made, maybe it's not.
