Right now we have 2 female american bullies that my wife rescued. Both in the house but we have to keep them in separate rooms but every now and then one will slip thru the door and my 105 lb wife will snap a leash on one and grab the collar of the other one and like Sadieblues will have them apart in a matter of seconds. It's takes longer for her to go grab the break stick than it does to break them apart and these are 75 lb dogs. It's just irresponsible not to own a break stick. That being said I carved about 30 of them over this long cold winter so if you want send me 40 bucks and I'll send you 2 of them and even carve your dogs name into each one!

Yep we sure do Gary is not hard to get in contact with. When I said top 10 worst threads that wouldn't qualify for a sticky.

How Haunch is bred means nothing I've seen his other ped. You're telling me you would rather beat your dog in the head infront of your neighbors than part them with sticks. Come on man really. It was dumb as shit and you shouldn't of posted it. Now the one thing I agree is True Detective is a great show :-)

You are so right Sadie and as much as I want to laugh at this guy and this thread as a responsible owner or owners we just can't ! OP your totally lacking responsibility when it comes to this breed and you set a bad example. For any newbie do not buy into this garbage their is enough good info on this site to lead you in the right direction.

This is the last thing I'm going to say and I'm done ... The point most are trying to pound into your head is bulldogs are UNPREDICTABLE 100% of the time. What we also know is that these dogs are genetically hard wired to fight common knowledge this is not some new trait that just popped up In these animals. I have some that tolerate each other but the difference between us is if I'm going to allow any of my dogs to interact with one another you bet your ass I have break sticks on me because at any given moment that switch can be flipped on these dogs don't have a time clock set in their brains as to when that switch is going to flip on. Some are highly aggressive all the time and some aren't, then you have some that will tolerate the same dog for 5 + years and all the sudden the switch comes on and the dogs no longer like each other. Allowing bulldogs to interact is a risk in itself but then not being prepared to part them is just down right foolish. Those are your dogs you can do what you want to with them but at the end if the day a break stick is an absolute must have I can't imagine what your neighbors thought watching you pound those dogs in the head and slam them against fences I know what I would have thought a break stick is the quickest way to separate bulldogs the longer they are able to fight the more damage the dogs take you do the math.

Never get comfortable with these dogs. I don't trust my males loose around a female, I had a situation last year when I was breeding. Got comfortable, after he bred her he chilled out waited to unhook, then proceeded to try to kill the bitch. I never allow any of my dogs over a year old play with each other period. I will walk them together, I walk one on left side of road and my wife walks one on right.

I agree old goat the wooden spoons I use to cook with would never hold up during a fight they would snap in half I'm trying to visualize that myself. Lol

Goat alot of make believe on the internet..Sadie our last litter of pups needed to be separated at 6 weeks old, I never understood people who go out and get a well bred dog and then try to make them poodles and a wooden spoon really!? 20 years and you don't own a break stick.Keep up what your doing and your going to lose a dog and you have Bullies you saw Haunch go but talk bad about chainspots? You name drop like it's supposed to impress someone and rant how the dogs are bred again who cares. You're all over the place with your b.s. get some break sticks and keep them separated its that simple, you continue to encourage them to fight by letting one sleep on you while the other is in the room. TDK and Vicki, Tom Jones also put a version of this out that was popular. I liked it but have to say I like Rivers version better. 7th Son is just kick ass Go Go music at its best. And of course it is an great old Blues standard.

I make a lot of my break sticks out of Osage orange. It's the wood they use to make long bows out of. My litter out of my v dawg bitch had to be separated at 13 weeks and they had 7 acres to run around on and were fed separately so it's not like they was fighting for food or space they just really enjoy it

I agree I also find it hard to believe dude has dogs directly off well known ch's and they're not hitting on shit dog park ready for 5 years lol. The very least you could expect is some level of da. This guys story is just way over the top I don't know about his dogs but The dogs I own down from the mayday/buck dogs are all extremely da they don't do all that dancing around and firing off at the mouth either they were ok as young pups but eventually had to be separated. The most I can say is my adults do good with young pups even still I don't trust a bulldog period it's just too many things that can go wrong.

20 years, huh? Have you spent 20 years purposely avoiding any basic learning regarding these dogs?

The time and effort some have put into this thread is for naught. This thread is absurd. "I admit I was wrong, and I have kept admitting I was wrong, and I will continue to both do it wrong and admit it to the end" doesn't cut it. Roll the credits. This spoof of an actual thread is over.
