I like these dogs I like the power they represent and there general brute strentgh and great temperments but they should never be called a pitbull

Run away from that litter. You should make up your mind and either buy a gamebred dog (the true APBT) or one of these bandog mutts. Don't support people that are out crossing the two together and ruining gamedogs. Pick your poison and stick with it but your best bet is to avoid RE and other half breed dogs.

Not all Razors Edge are crap- Post a ped of him.
I can give you an un biased oppinion as I have both game bred and Porportional RE bred females
But my RE female has bolio/Van pelt's blood (Zebo)
So I can tell you if you post a pic and ped of the dad if he MIGHT be worth geting something off of.
SOME RE is CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean FAT ALL THE TIME AND NO DEFINITION!!!!!!!!1

 

Who cares about proportions and definition when you're talking about a whole other animal!? They are not APBT, period. So if you are looking for an APBT go for the game bred dogs! RE is trash. (In APBT standards...)

 

RE was once a UKC show line but it is now the bluff peddlers bloodline of choice. The early RE dogs were proportioned & were UKC (staff) standard but now RE dogs are becoming more & more "extreme."

As for why one would breed a gamedog to a RE dog, all I can figure out is perhaps to correct the conformation??

A RE x Butkus pup would make a nice pet, but I wouldn't choose a pup out of that litter for use as a gamedog. Not saying there won't be some game ones, but the odds are against it. If you want a gamebred pup & like the way the gyp is bred, wait until the fellow breeds her back to a game dog.

That is exacly what i was thinking. But when i visited the site resently he sold most of his game dogs and has gotten new Mutts. His site is godfatherkennels.com> C 4 your self.

 

Some idiots think they should outcross their Fatties to game stuff every now and then to "keep them agressive" *rolling my eye* This is probably why the breeding took place....either that or because that's what dog was available to breed, and the guy needed to put food on the table. Idiots.

Some wuld do it just cause the dogs compliment each other.
Others to straighten out some RE faults.
And others becuase game dogs are short in most cases but not wide- So to breed to hgame dog would give you the same height more drive and energy plus you would still keep it fat to look "bigger"

 

How would a game dog "compliment" a RE dog??? If a RE has so many faults, breeding it to a game dog MIGHT "correct" the problem in the pups...but its not a RE dog anymore...only 50% RE blood...max. So you just changed what that dog is....again. Man...if only they had a clue. Go to bluelinekennels.us and check out their breeding that is "what real pitbulls should look like" you'll get a good laugh....and I actually like some of the dogs they USED to have.

There's is absolutely NO excuse to try & defend a breed condemning breeding like that except for the almighty dollar. I'm to the point that I'm starting to believe that the sooner these people's dogs disappear, the better. I hate to wish early deaths on an animal, but some "lives" are worse than death.
