glad your dog is doing better. be certain to correctly follow the after care instructions. GI related infections/obstructions are nothing to mess with and proper after care is essential. curious: what did he ingest?
also, perhaps you should take a look at your dog's surroundings from his point of view and remove any potential threats to his health/well being. (be that socks, batteries, coins, etc)

 

Just picked my hound up from the vet. They said he lost a foot long of intestine. They was not able to see what he ate. They said they cant tell and said it may be parasites. Or he could have ate something.

 

Time to find a new vet LOL

 

...TO BE HONEST WITH YA,,,you seem to be haveing problem after problem with this dog...some dogs just eat anything they find and end up been an expensive night-mare,,i know ya may be very close to him and putting him to sleep,,might be no-way to you,,but ya won't change his bad habit's....so just something to think about...................
