Senile - yup - and I've still probably forgotten more than you'll ever know. As far as my marbles - they're in 2 quart jars in my antique china cabinet, I won them years ago and I'll bet they are worth lots more than yours.

Here was my first attempt bout a year ago.. Ive since built a small concrete and wooden framed pool for bath time and I can fill it for swimming. its 3' x 5' but here is the water tank mentioned :]

Old dog there's a site that sales above ground pools called Arthurs pools here's the address http://www.arthurpools.com. They make tanks for pets just as well as us if we'd like to take a swim to beat the heat. I've been looking into getting one for my hounds lately but I'm still debating. Check it out tho!!!

not too bad of a price either, the tank itself is around $600 at tractor supply (i believe), if you were to build one of quality...i would think it would cost around the same (if not more) and saves you the labor....

i tried that a few years back and it was to short.

 

Plastic storage and transport containers | AUER Packaging cut the top off one of these should do the job .

 

This is might be an idea.
This will last forever, get ur self some empty crates 4$ each? cost you arround 150$ to build a lil pool...you cant find one that strong for that cheap anywhere
Screw them together and is crazy what you can build out of these crates...people use construction sail/plastic from the hardware store and thats pretty cheap and water proof...or get some plastic used for koifish ponds

at a friend of mine we build the base of a koifish pond out of these...you can even fill them with sand or concrete as a eve stronger foundation..
