I think everyone's opinions on large and overdone 'pits' has been stated time and time again =)

I'm not exactly sure what they are, but if they're anything like King Dobes, King Rottweilers, or King Shepherds, then they are curs bred for 'extreem' size.

I've never seen a Warlock bred to be a Warlock, but I've seen a few pit/dobe mixes.

lol overdone dogs are just as bad as under-done dogs. overdone ones look like fat hogs underdone ones look like greyhounds.........

its funny how about we post pics of overdone and under done and have a big laugh/critque (sp?) wouldnt that be more fun?

i would like to see a warlock got a pic?

Hmmmm in the Doberman "world" a Warlock Doberman is a term used to describe an oversized Doberman (110lbs and up).
Funny thing is Ch. Borong the Warlock (who many think the term is coined after) wasnt a large or oversized dog and was by many counts a standard sized male.

I dont know who started calling Pit/Dobe mixes "warlocks".

There is an old term for large mixed apbts called bandog. Many mastiff type dogs have been crossed with apbts to creat this banddogs that look like oversized apbts but without the correct disposition or performance abilities.

I remember back in the '80s in LA it became popular for the gangs to cross Dobes with APBTs to be used for weapons of war. They were referred to as "bandogs" by the media, law enforcement, and the gangsters themselves. That was actually the first time I'd ever heard the term.
