game dogs with uncommon colors/markings

who knows of any and would be willing to post pics?

i.e.








just markings/colors you don't see often.

Ticking and the patches above the eyes is all the coloring he's got

 

Seen ticked dogs built like bird dogs, never forget the first real black and tan I ever saw! Had A burgundy wine colored one once, the only one I have ever seen with that color! Real tight line breed families crossed into each other then outcrossed at times can bring some bizarre colors and markings!

 

Rattler had unusual markings as well.

I like that ticked look but not merle...

Im not too much a fan of mostly white dogs but my best dog looked alot like that white one with the red ticks...

I had a red brindle bitch that was a deep red with blonde stripes,,,
she was built like a cat,,, acted like a cat with a ton of athletic abilty but that was it...

The blacks and tans are somewhat rare...

some theories on the rattler dogs were that the first batch carried that ticked look
and some had a split nose sometimes referred to as a pig nose,,,
these traits as well as a cork screw tail some believe to be throwbacks of old blood,,,
in which the original blood had the diversity of a lot of different influences including
old bulldogs in which some looked like the american bulldog crosses of today as mentioned...

none of the later rattler dogs carried the ticked pignose traits leading some to believe
the rat don busenbark to be selling pedigrees...

 

I inbred some dogs straight out of Busenbark's Haze and got some Rattler looking dogs and some Jeep looking dogs. The Rattler looking dogs were ticked/buckskin and white and not nearly as clean looking as the "Jeepier" dogs. Don really liked the Jeep dogs............but there were also dogs that popped out looking like Rattler in a lot of the litters I saw.
