Who has pictures of dogs that are black and tan or red and tan or dogs that have produced that and what lines they come from?

They can pop up in mostly all lines.Sorrells and Hammonds has a few. Both parents have to carry the Black and Tan gene to produce Black and Tans.

I once saw a litter of iron kid x rbjbt dogs and there were a few who were Black and Tan or red and tan. Both the parents were reds. Very well bred dogs.

Naturally they pop up black and tan from lines as throwbacks and I mean neither parent black and tan.You always get throw backs.I know Bert liked them alot which is why they produced more.If its not a throwback , both parents need the black and tan gene to produce more black and tans.

Emmitt thru a few black and tans. My ex partner had this one. I guess he would be a tri since he had white on his paws. Was a good looking proper bulldog. Laziest mofo I ever seen on the slat though..

I owned his belly mate sister. I believe Carolina Kennels owned him last. I've always liked the color.

I was defiantly looking to acquire something not really particular on how its bred as long as its from sound conformation dogs! Could someone point me in the right direction?

Only black and tan dogs I've ever seen were down from Sorrells blood. I've seen a few red/tan Mayday dogs. Usually crossed with heavy Buck blood.

Dont think I've ever seen a quality performance dog in either color though. Likely because of the scarcity of those colors where I'm from I'm sure. Bet there would be some down in and around Florida.

Been lots of good Black and Tans since the beginning .Color doesn't have anything to do with performance.Been a lot more from lines other than Sorrells.

Oh for sure! I just mean from what I have seen personally. But again, it's due to the fact that the color is not very common up here in the N.E corner. I've only seen a handful in my life (and I'm getting old)! I'm sure there have been plenty. Just sort of a rare color is all.
