Garner's "Elmo"

What does everyone think about Garner's "Elmo"? Is he producing some good ones'? I'm thinking about getting a pup off of him bred back to one of his daughters. I wanted some other opinions other than from the breeder.

Elmo has a few good dogs out there but not as many as you should for being bred that many times. I would look at something off El Negro or Bolo. In my opinion TG has better studs than Elmo. I just don't think he's producing high percentages. Ch. El Negro is my favorite stud on his lineup now and I'm patiently waiting to start hearing about Biscuit's offspring. His career is very young.

this is completely off subject but B do you know if marty is selling the bumperstickers in your signature?? i posted a long time ago about them but never got a response if so i would surely love to order one. thanks.

go with bolo. i have one off him, she is a fast starter, absolutely on fire. very high strung and i have heard the same about other offspring bred to different bitches.

im interested to see how bisquit produces as well.

El Negro > Bolo Just messing with you game_test... LOL. Either dog is a better choice than Elmo in my humble opinion.

how is el negros production record? i have not heard about much, he is a game game game animal but i have not heard much as for offspring, and he is old too.

Pssh, he has a ton of winners on the ground. I'm not going to get specific because this is public but trust me, if I had to take a pup off one dog on TG's yard it would be Ch. El Negro. He hasn't been producing for a real long time. He is older but he hasn't been in the states for most of his life. He was campaigned and kept south of the border for a good part of his life. He's putting serious GAME bulldogs on the ground. How many points does Bolo have? Oh wait, his career is pretty young too....

He just came to the states a few months ago. I know of a few good ones off him and supposedly he throws a serious bulldog. I'm sure I'll start hearing more now that he's living in the states and being bred to some good bulldogs.

I personally like Hickory, not to many people like how his mother is bred, but I think that he has produced some good ones. I've had 2 off Elmo and was not super impressed. I would go with El Negro even though I know that Biscuit will be a good one and there are some done here off him.

I'm aware of that but he lived in South America most of his life. He just recently came to the states and is NOW being bred to some good dogs. Good luck tracking down info regarding his production in South America

I've got a younger one off Elmo bred to Black Mary. The only thing I can tell so far is she seems to have a pretty hard mouth. Only time will tell on the rest.

kinda sucks then, i was supposed to get one off el negro to a double skull bitch, same one my lele girl is off. oh well. i have thought about breeding to him i will add him to the list of potentials for the second go round. first one will hopefully be that moe dog. the deal is pretty much sealed. got my AI kit coming and waiting for her heat.

Thanks for you opinions guys. I really wasn't sure about "Elmo" I want to start "working" with some chinaman but i'm just trying to figure out where to start with it or if i should start with it at all. I want to re-vamp the blood a little bit. Someone please point me in the right direction as to where to start with this blood. Frisco or not!

I like the Mojo Rising stuff, he produced some good ones and his offspring are producing great also.

I have a female off Elmo, she's a very nice dog. As far as other info, I don't think these message forums are the best place to ask. i seen you on different forums asking all these questions. i just dont get it how people are so open on boards. i am sure MR garner wouldn't want all this info that was just posted about all his dogs on here. common sense :confused:

I don't think it's that serious. No one is encriminating him or anything like that. If you were about to buy a car would you wait until you went to the dealership and let the salesmen sell you something based solely on what he has to say about the car? No! You get opinions. This is a FORUM. Its pretty open if you haven't realized that yet. Don't be so sensitive.
