Yea Butch had him up until he passed at the age of like 15. I bred to geach when he was 11. All my dogs except 1 come down from his yard. Talk with him periodically Still. Good people.

I rember he had that blk male i think he called chinman 2 that use to carry the 2x4 around

 

He's helped me out immensely along the way, especially earlier on in the dogs. Always gave it to me straight. He's out of the dogs these days and owns and operates a real nice get away hotel in the hills of the Carolinas. I have always looked up to him. I dealt more with his buddy West the last decade. Now I pretty much just do my own thing. I don't get a whole lot of complaints on the dogs I do have out there. Most exceed peoples expectations but they don't all work out of course. They work for me more times than not so I been running with them for a long time now. Just sticking to the program.

I asked him one time what he thought of the dog and he told me, If he bred the dog to fence pole he'd get game splinters. Lol I never forgot that one. It was like 20 years ago or so.

He didn't own him but he was on his yard for a while. Messeged me one time letting me know uturn was up for sale. Always wished I would have brought him. I know uturns owner though too.

What do u charge for a pure pup.

 

750 to 1k. Depends on the breeding. I only offer every other year or so. We keep most of the litters close. Lately the litters have been getting larger so I been able to offer up a few more the last few years.

Man u know what im huntin if u know any one is the rod kershner blood got some old storded semen that very simliar to it & was want a gyp pup off working stock

 

In Pa. Wont be doing anything in house until mid to late next year. Got some youngins I'm going to let mature up before I do any more breeding.
