He was one of the best with a treadmill. He could read a dog as well as any other and they were never on the mill a second too long nor did they come off a second too early. He was a stickler for the kind of dog he stood behind and his selection process was weird at times, yet effective.

He passed a lot of his stuff down to a select few. A few more were sitting in the library but refused to read the book.

RIP. He did some things that the game was not proud of but he had some things done to him that no one should be proud of. The government chose a feeble old man and sent him to prison for what they could not catch him doing 30 years prior. Watching that scratch having to be made was awful.

He was not healthy when he went it and I didn't think he would make it out. He must have pulled in that grit his dog's were known for and held on for a number of years afterwards.

I won't try to preach him into heaven but I will say he made his scratches when he had to and fought the good fight, for a really long time.

RIP my friend, our friend, rest easy.

He was good for the game and the game has lost another of its all-time greats.

He didn't always keep his mouth shut and coming along as a youngster we were told to steer clear. If we interacted with him in anyway we were no longer welcome on 'the farm in Possum Hollow'.

I am not a fan of preaching someone into heaven after they pass but I do believe in paying respects.
