I just took in a bull-breed (possibly mix). She is our 5th. dog and an absolute joy to have. All of our dogs are considered our family and we think of them and treat them like our children. I can't even imagine being without any one of them.

Last week our Great Dane/Greyhound mix escaped our yard by ripping the gait down. Luckily, some good people picked him up and were thinking enough to call the claim center (which we had filled out lost animal cards there in case someone called). The two days he was gone was absolutely miserable and had both me and my girlfriend devostated.

We definately would move if it meant keeping our family together. In fact, we are looking at some land on the outskirts of our city so as to have more room to expand our family even more (hopefully with more bull-breeds!).

To say it simply, there's nothing we wouldn't do for them and I believe they all feel the same way about us.

I wouldn't trade in any of my pups for the world. They are the first thing I take care of in the morning and the last thing I check on and take care of before I get off to a good night sleep. I couldn't agree more with the statement that it is indeed a "lifestyle" I dedicate all that I do and work for to caring for my animals. If I didn't have to work to support and provide for them, that's where all of my time would be spent. I have been blessed to acquire such a wonderful breed. I brought them into my life and it is my responsibility to be their provider. If one of my dog's so much as lets out a little whine during the night, I'm at the door with a flashlight making sure all is well in the yard. When I am going through hard times, they listen. When I need a shoulder to cry on and someone to hug, they are their for me. Its the best feeling to have that waggin tail greet you at the door just waiting for your attention when you get home.
