weighted collar

Ive been walking my dog with a chain collar that weighs a little over 2 lbs, shes 7 months and i was wondering if it was bad for her, or if she will even benifit from it?

 

no you are damaging your dogs vertebrate
a weighted collar is not a good way to excercise your animal at any age as it does neck and shoulder damage. your dog is way to young to start working. keep it fit by running playing fetch and a little tug o war but weights etc are not good at this age.

Maybe they dont know the chain to tie out should be just right and not overly heavy for the dog..

No prob, I rememer someone said keeping them on the chain like thats builds muscles. I sure wish I'd stay my butt on a chain for a few hours and end up looking something like tabdogs lol
