Bashing someone and telling someone straight out the truth is two different things. Although as time has passed on this forum alot of the old experienced doggers left and all the newbies at that time seem to have become the next generation of authority on this breed on this forum with all there intellectual knowledge from info. they learned from others on the net but lack or have no actual experience first hand. I seen people on this forum when they first join they dont know anything about the pitbull from there own ass but after 100 or so post all of a sudden there the kings of authority on the APBT and there word in there own eyes becomes there Gospel truth with no respect to the real veteran dogman that have the real experiences.

You state your opinions like they are FACTS. Other only reply and correct you because they dont want you spreading your ill-experience to other new comers. Stop trying to be a know it all and act like you know something.

You learn alot more listening then giving an "opinion"

Opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one :D

old saying you need to learn the value of a dallor...you have to work for it..and if you want to learn ..you have to work for it...you may ask a question we dont want to hear..you may get an answer you dont want to hear..and it works both ways..you wont get it on a silver plate handed to you.

Its really not good to take things personally. I'm on ... counts on fingers ... 8 dog boards on a regular basis. And on the majority of those boards, there are people who've come on and said "This board sucks! Thanks for nothing, jerk-offs! I've found a much better board!" And then when the honeymoon is over on their new board, and they find they're hearing the same things again, history repeats itself.

If a lot of people are telling you the same thing, it doesn't make them all idiots. Most likely, the combined experience makes them realize something that you may not be aware of? And yes, some people have the tact of a gorilla. Unfortunately, that's the way life is, and you just have to deal with it, or ignore it. Hopefully, you also learn from it, and use the information to become someone who is an asset to the breed. (Not saying you aren't. Just speaking in generals.)

OK OK, I am very new here at this forum, new to the breed but not new to dogs. Over the past several months I have noticed some very negative feedback here and some of it is in fun and some of it is not. Which side do you sit on? Guys (and gals) get in these pissing matches and the ones doing it really seem to fit that pit bull owner stereotype. It's a shame to me...

I'm just posting so I can see if my new avatar works. If there is an avatar, it's my dog Blue, named after the old folk song and her blue eyes not her color. I didn't even know "blue" pits were a fad when I got her. She is a rescue dog. She loves people but she will kill cats if she can get to them. God knows what her bloodlines are....Still she's mine and loved and spoiled...
I posted some when I first joined, but now I just mostly read everyone else's posts.
there are always negative people on boards. Now I'm gonna go look at badguypits pictures...see if his pitties are fat...lol...

    That would be me :D

Here is another of my favorites:

"Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so." ~ Douglas Adams

I have learned more from this site about my dogs than I have from any other. Sometimes folks will disagree, but for the most part, you will find them very helpful.
