barf / raw ?

    I dont get the Raw/Barf diet can someone please shed a little light on this subjejt for me? as a chef i know of the dangers of feeding/eating raw food in humands and there are to many to list there anr not much info out there that i could find please help....and can it be done along with a good dog food to help keep cost down ? Thank you
