DOC is once again searching for the perfect home. This amazingly loving dog is losing his home because his owners, who adopted him from rescue a year and a half ago, are moving and cannot take Doc with them. Doc is the epitome of what a good American pit bull terrier should be--loving and loyal, bursting with affection for everyone he meets, athletic, energetic, eager to please, comical, and a great bull breed ambassador. He gets along great with everyone, young and old, has lived with young children, and will thrive in either city or country environments as long as he gets enough exercise every day. He'd love to be your jogging partner, your hiking companion, your obedience star, your demo dog, your working dog, your napping buddy, and the dog you show off to your friends as the best dog ever. He has lived with other dogs in foster homes, but we would only place him with another dog if the potential adoptive family is very familiar with the pit bull breed and willing to take extra precautions to ensure the safety of both dogs. Doc is not good with cats. He's up to date on all shots, he's neutered, he's housebroken, he's crate trained, he walks well on a leash, he travels well, and he's knows his basic obedience commands. What more could you want in a dog? We are looking for a home that will commit to giving Doc a great home for the rest of his life--Doc thrives on human companionship and stability, and he deserves a family that will be as loyal to him as he will be to them. What a beautiful dog. I wish I could get him. A two day drive though for me one way. Looks like he could be Babies brother. Built the same and look the same. Very good looking and happy dog.
